I LOVE the mountains but moved back to be with family. I am VERY career oriented, and am currently a sales consultant for one of the major cellphone companies. Planning to grow through management then work my way up until I make a very decent salary. My coworkers know me as the future CEO of the company. In my future, I want to be able to own a decent house and be able to travel the world on a yearly basis. I'm also a pretty major environmentalist. I try to do what I can to lower my carbon footprint, and plan to incorporate those practices in my future lifestyle. My other passions are psychology and technology. I've visited 11 different countries, including volunteer work in an orphanage in India. I am a bit of a homebody overall, but also like my adventures. I love long nature walks, either in a park or boardwalk. I'm a pretty complex person and pretty well educated. I recently finished my BA in psychology, which was long overdue. I also love my little dog, and will always have one or two in my life. I spend a lot of time thinking about philosophical and psychological questions, as well as think about thinking.I have always been a hopeless romantic at heart. I can be very romantic, and hope I find someone who will appreciate my corny ways. I like to woo my lover and always make him feel special. I consider myself pretty masculine, but I tend to like guys who are more in the middle of the road. I think it all boils down to the yin yang theory. I am more yang. I like to protect and wrap my arms around my man, tend to be more of the breadwinner, and do whatever else I can to make him happy. I can be very sexual, as well as just generally affectionate. I love to cuddle and hold hands. I am not looking for Mr. Right, I am looking to BE someone’s Mr. Right. Will I be yours? I try to come up with something unique. PS. I know what I want in my life, and I know where I am going. My schedule isn't great right now, but it isn't permanent. Just thought I would get that out of the way first lol. I have a pretty good sense of humor and a bit sarcastic at times, ok maybe more then I should lol. I like video games(Rarely play them though), everything from RPGS to MMOS. I don't play anything like I used to, but it is my hobby when I have time for it., which isn't much if ever bc I work over nights. I honestly don't have any hardcore hobbies, relaxing and cuddling when not at work, but the later I haven't done in a good while. Music is pretty much anything and everything.....but bluegrass, the one thing that I just can't get into listening. Trust me, if you saw my spotify it's all over the place lol. I love old black and white movies.......and SCI-FI. I do love Animu, top 3 are Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, and The Death Note. I am also a hopeless romantic, I won't lie. Laying in bed with my hair a mess and my partner in pretty much the same situation is hot and cute to me. I am not looking for a cheap hookup or nsa, I'm on this site to look for a relationship. Hit me up, I won't bite. I don't check this site that often, but I will at least once a day. On a side note since this seems to be a pretty big part of any relationship.....I consider myself vers. I hate extremes, I'm vers, but if i had to choice one or the other, probably bttm, but really I want someone vers like me :). So hope that isn't a problem, but to some it is, so I feel that needed to be put out there, so time isn't wasted too much. Although, I will say, you won't get sex the first date, I am looking for a partner not just sex. Although sex is a big part of any relationship. Rambling over now lol. I do have 8 tattoos, only one is visible with a short sleeve shirt. Otherwise, you would never know I had them lol. My perfect guy, when he comes home from work, and vis versa, the first thing he does is come to me, and throws me down and kisses me lol, can't keep his hands off of me and me him. I want that, not a hi, and then not talk to me for the rest of the night. Maybe that is too much to ask from this site lol. Totally depends on the person. I'm a pretty laid back and easy going guy. I think the first date should be to get to know the other person, so something where we can talk and find out if there is any chemistry. I can be blunt sometimes, but I try not to be too much lol. The first date should be as relaxed and the least stressful as possible, and not about impressing the other person, but about getting to know each other, just my thoughts.

Ok so I am never very good at this whole self description thing... but here we go... First of all you should know that I’m a huge dork. Always have been, always will be; I fear it is incurable. I have always had a passion for social justice and am finishing up a graduate program that I hope will allow me to make a tangible difference in the lives of people suffering from the ravages of war, poverty, and natural disasters.When I am not engrossed in (shackled by?) the world of academia, I very much enjoy just hanging out and doing random things with my friends. I love just sitting around, having a couple drinks, and bantering. For me it is almost always about the people and not the event. If the people I am with are great, I will always have a great time.That being said, I cannot just sit around interminably or else I get anxious. I love living in our nation’s capital. There is always something to do. I like wandering around the museums and taking advantage of cultural events. I also like going to random concerts and hitting up the bar scene on occasion. Plus there are always the nights that I get dragged out to do random/crazy things by my friends.I like traveling and exploring new places. I’m particularly fascinated by different cultures and like learning about how other people live.Music is a wonderful part of my life. I have been involved in singing for most of my life, but have yet to find an outlet for that since I moved to DC. Sports are great. I like playing soccer, but am not very good. I also enjoy watching games at bars and in person.In general, I am a pretty laid back guy. I really love people and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am the kind of guy that will drop everything to help a friend. I tend to be somewhat shy at first, but once I warm up to you I am an open book. I don't believe in BS and will always tell it to you straight.I know it's kind of sappy, but truth be told I am a hopeless romantic and would love to find someone to share that with. Ultimately, I am looking for someone who I can share my life with, but I am realistic and would really just like to find a nice guy with whom I share interests and see where things go from there. There is so much more to anyone than what they can describe on a site like this, but if you have made it this far and like what you have heard, why don't you message me? A good first date should be something where we can get to know one another and figure out just how compatible we are. I would probably suggest something like bumming around the Smithsonian/National Monuments or grabbing dinner and going for a walk. Although, I am totally open to other ideas as well.
