As the day got later dinner would be easygoing but unique, preferably with tiki torches on an outdoor deck at sunset. Followed by a live band, dancing and some fruity alcoholic beverage. Then off to the beach for a bonfire and a blanket to gaze at the stars. That would be a very ideal first date... really a fantastic date in general, but a great way to get to know someone in many facets over a long period of time. Go big or go home right? :-)
