I LOVE the mountains but moved back to be with family. I am VERY career oriented, and am currently a sales consultant for one of the major cellphone companies. Planning to grow through management then work my way up until I make a very decent salary. My coworkers know me as the future CEO of the company. In my future, I want to be able to own a decent house and be able to travel the world on a yearly basis. I'm also a pretty major environmentalist. I try to do what I can to lower my carbon footprint, and plan to incorporate those practices in my future lifestyle. My other passions are psychology and technology. I've visited 11 different countries, including volunteer work in an orphanage in India. I am a bit of a homebody overall, but also like my adventures. I love long nature walks, either in a park or boardwalk. I'm a pretty complex person and pretty well educated. I recently finished my BA in psychology, which was long overdue. I also love my little dog, and will always have one or two in my life. I spend a lot of time thinking about philosophical and psychological questions, as well as think about thinking.I have always been a hopeless romantic at heart. I can be very romantic, and hope I find someone who will appreciate my corny ways. I like to woo my lover and always make him feel special. I consider myself pretty masculine, but I tend to like guys who are more in the middle of the road. I think it all boils down to the yin yang theory. I am more yang. I like to protect and wrap my arms around my man, tend to be more of the breadwinner, and do whatever else I can to make him happy. I can be very sexual, as well as just generally affectionate. mnWell, I've tried these things before, only had one meaningful relationship out of it, so I'm gonna try this again. I'm spastic, but in a good way. Fun to be around, or so I'm told. Ok so I am never very good at this whole self description thing... but here we go... First of all you should know that I’m a huge dork. Always have been, always will be; I fear it is incurable. I have always had a passion for social justice and am finishing up a graduate program that I hope will allow me to make a tangible difference in the lives of people suffering from the ravages of war, poverty, and natural disasters.When I am not engrossed in (shackled by?) the world of academia, I very much enjoy just hanging out and doing random things with my friends. I love just sitting around, having a couple drinks, and bantering. For me it is almost always about the people and not the event. If the people I am with are great, I will always have a great time.That being said, I cannot just sit around interminably or else I get anxious. I love living in our nation’s capital. There is always something to do. I like wandering around the museums and taking advantage of cultural events. I also like going to random concerts and hitting up the bar scene on occasion. Plus there are always the nights that I get dragged out to do random/crazy things by my friends.I like traveling and exploring new places. I’m particularly fascinated by different cultures and like learning about how other people live.Music is a wonderful part of my life. I have been involved in singing for most of my life, but have yet to find an outlet for that since I moved to DC. Sports are great. I like playing soccer, but am not very good. I also enjoy watching games at bars and in person.In general, I am a pretty laid back guy. I really love people and enjoy spending time with friends and family. A good first date should be something where we can get to know one another and figure out just how compatible we are. I would probably suggest something like bumming around the Smithsonian/National Monuments or grabbing dinner and going for a walk. Although, I am totally open to other ideas as well.
