Well, I'm a northern bread guy trying to make his way in the deep south....I work in retail currently but I'm looking to make a career change into something travel related, like maybe for a major travel agency like AAA or American Express, or the airlines. I love nature and animals. Would love to have a cat one day when I can financially afford one. I love going to the beach. I am goofy and spontaneous. I speak my mind sometimes not in the most tactful way lol. Love to read newsmagazines. Would love to settle down with mister right someday and adopt kids with him. I want a completely monogamous commited relationship with a wedding. Also, I want a guy that is completely out of the closet to his family and friends. Also, he must be ok being true to who he is no matter what situation he may be in. Music wise, I like a lot of different genres however, my favorites are pop, alternative, Indie, new age, house/electronica, etc. I have a tender heart, love coffee and tea, love deep long conversation in person and on the phone ,deeply opinionated, love intellectual chats, and am not afraid to be who I am. I am goofy and silly sometimes. Love satire and sarcasm. I love plants and flowers. I pay close attention to the details in life. Am genuinely kind. I try to live every moment to the fullest. Life is too short to be hung up on the past. An ideal first date for me would be meeting at the park or beach and having meaningful conversation while walking around on the beach or in the park. Also meeting up for coffee or tea to have engaging conversation would be great.

I live to travel, have incredible times with friends, contribute to the world of education as a teacher, and bike ride all I can in the summer. I love to take life in both hands and live as much as I can. My goal is to be the best person, friend, boyfriend, and teacher I can be. I guess you could describe me as a little old fashioned. I believe in quality over quantity in friendships. I have a few close friends and it's so much better than a million acquaintances. I believe in traditional first dates: meeting for coffee, taking a walk along the river, going out to dinner and talking and getting to know each other (what a concept)! Sometimes I can get swept away with those new emotions, but taking it slow is important too and I've realized this more as I've gotten older and wiser ;-).My life is pretty much on track. My career is stable, I can pay my own bills, and I am saving for my dream house. (It will be in the GR area but not quite there yet- I hope to be by March '14.) It would be great to find someone to share my life with now and I'd prefer him to be stable himself - able to pay his own way. It would just make things easier. What I am seeking in a partner is someone who can hold a good conversation, is funny, kind, gentle, loves to cuddle especially when it's cold, and enjoys being outdoors in the summer. Like I said, biking is a big thing of mine and having a bike would give us something to do together. A nice first date would be a coffee date and then maybe dinner and a movie. I'm pretty flexible but great conversation is a must with me like I mentioned. In the summer, going to the beach is awesome! The Sleeping Bear Dunes are also sweet.
