I'm a native New Yorker, hailing from Queens - with an accent and sarcastic sense of humor to boot.I love all things sweet. Checking out new bakeries and dessert hot spots is one of my favorite things to do. My creative outlet is baking and developing my own recipes. Sadly, I cannot cook to save my life.I'm not into the scene, nor am I really a drinker. I'll enjoy an occasional night at the bar, but I much prefer doing chill things, such as hanging at the park, going to the movies (popcorn and soda required), trying a new restaurant, and just relaxing at home with the TV or a video game.Currently, I'm working in the corporate fashion industry, doing product development for pants, shorts, and denim (I'm not a fashion designer). However, I'm addicted to sweets and trying to kick-start my own baked goods company.Hoping to meet someone worthwhile on here. A best friend who also goes by the title, boyfriend.Favorite... I also love superhero, disaster, and scary films.Music: I love most kinds of music, especially music with a dance beat. Love that 90s House, 70s Disco, and Top 40.Shows: Once Upon A Time, Grimm, Glee, Modern Family, Gossip Girl, The Food Network, Real Housewives of NJ.Foods: chicken parm, bacon, pad thai, mac 'n cheese, gnocchi, quesadilla, mozzarella, cemita, duck confit, pizza, avocado. We'll get along if...-You can eat 4 cupcakes (or equivalent dose of sugar) in one sitting without remorse.-You carry Pokèballs around, in the hopes of finding a completely random stranger to battle.-You love watching horror movies because you love getting scared and, let's face it, it's a great excuse to cuddle and squeeze.-You always grab an item from the back of the shelf, because it's superior to the one at the front.--You're quite the versatile type.-You can laugh at yourself and don't take life too seriously.-You know how to have and keep up a two-way conversation.

You know sometimes these are really hard things to write. If you would have asked me to write about me four months ago, I really wouldn't know what to say. All I can say now is that I am truly on a journey that is just that... A wild, adventure. :***months ago on March 19, ***I had a life changing weight loss surgery called the gastric sleeve. I started my journey as someone who used food as a way to shield the way I truly felt and for the first time, I have been able to learn how to use food as a tool and not just something I love. I started my journey at ***and today, four months later I weigh 275! I now know that anything is possible in life! Anything! For a living, I work as a manager over the accounting and finance division for a staffing agency on the west side of town. I love helping people find their passion and placing them in the right career opportunity. I'm a social person and I really enjoy people. I love to go to the movies, dinner, or just hang out and watch a good movie at the house. I have a passion for life and love doing new things. I love to travel and have gotten to some in my life and want to experience more. I am looking for someone who I can get to know, and if it works out, spend the rest of my life with. I am a true romantic and looking for the special person that I'm meant to be with.If you like what you have read, I would love to get to know you! ;)-John I like surprises. ;) I'm someone who would love to have someone take me somewhere based on my initial conversations. :)

I'm a caring and considerate guy, who is deeply loyal. I love reading, cooking, conversation, history, collecting things, playing games and studying and learning all sorts of new things. I much more prefer the quiet life and love to be snuggled up next to the person I care about watching movies and having laughs together. I'd like to meet someone who is equally loyal, affectionate, and loves spending time together. Something unconventional and memorable. I guess I'm an idealist so if we ended up hitting it off I'd want it to be a story that we could tell 20 years down the road with fondness. Follow this with a walk in the park, weather permitting, to unwind. Perhaps retire to one's place to continue the conversation. I prefer dates that don't have a time limit on them so that we can really enjoy each other. Dinner is okay as long as it's part of a larger date, but I definitely don't like cliches like going to a movie. Who wants to go to a movie with someone you're trying to get to know, but are just going to sit there in silence with in the theater, haha?
