Well hello, welcome to my pond.I am currently getting my masters in mental health counseling. However, sometimes I think of giving it all up, to become a stripper. Just kidding....maybe. I haven't had time to read a good book, in forever; except magazines on the toilet. I love 80's movies, horror and comedies. My current favorites are Bridesmaids and Excision.I watch a lot of television. Some of my favorites are: True Blood, American Horror Story, Shameless, Misfits, Skins, Raising Hope, Modern Family, Happy Endings.Musically, I am prone to both club and depressing chick music. If someone would produce a dubstep version of Patsy Cline, I would be all over that.I love to laugh and make people laugh.I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor.My biggest pet peeves, are unearned egos and people whom lack respect.There are no pedestals. I am mainly looking for quality over quantity, in the form of friendships. If anything grows, great, but I am currently out of fertilizer. I used to think I knew who I was. In the last couple of days I've come to realize there is more to me than people may see. I'm a unique person, I have a desire to learn. I have a love of architecture, art, history, automobiles, college sports. I can be serious and at the same time I never take myself too seriously. Who am I looking for in life? Well I'm not the skinniest guy around though I prefer guys that are lighter than I. I'm working slowly on losing weight and so far doing good. I want to meet someone who is confident, masculine, good natured, good sense of humor. Someone who will listen to my hopes and dreams and someone that I can do the same for. Age, well between 18 and 40. I'm 30 but act like a kid at times though I can also be adult. I want to be able to read you before you even say a word. If you are having a bad day I want to be there to comfort you and listen to everything you have to say. I want someone I care about who cares about me but someone who is independent. Someone that doesn't need to have me around all the time to feel complete but knows that I'm there whether physically or not. Fair warning though, I am a Christian and I take this relatively seriously. But above all, just be yourself :-) Doesn't have to be anything fancy...The list goes on and on. Bottom line is I want to be able to talk to you. Get a chance to know you, look you in the eyes. The eyes tell so much about a person and are the windows to the soul. Who are you as a person? What makes you tick? I want to know these things. Too many times dates or hanging out have led to sex. I don't want to do that anymore. I want to make a solid connection. I want to do things together that we can enjoy and in turn learn more about how we interact and if we would be good as a couple. Someone who could become my boyfriend yes, but more importantly, someone who can be my friend. Without the chemistry between us, a relationship won't work and there is no reason to try and force the chemistry. :-)
