I am a divorced father. I have 1 child and she is the center of my world. I would like to find someone who loves kids and wants a long term relationship. I work full time and go to college full time. I am chubby, but I have lost 80 pounds and my goal is to lose another 50. If you like what you have read so far contact me and we can see where things lead.

Let me tell you, everything in the whole world. This is what I like - this is what I am; and so it begins. These things are made and remade continually. "I am a work in progress," etc. etc. (the famous saying is not worth writing out). Clear, firm, and unequivocal, here I stand. I've fused many lives into one, and have died a thousand deaths. I'm half in love with love and half in love with the idea of love. I am often bored by the sky, things have lost my fancy, and I've outlived certain desires. I am not as gifted as I once was. I will never understand calculus. The Netherlands is the limit of my traveling. It's painful to think that I have yet to behold savages in New Guinea spearing fish or naked men eating raw flesh. But let me consider. When one thing ends another thing begins, and another, and another. And why should there be an end to things?

I'm a caring and considerate guy, who is deeply loyal. I love reading, cooking, conversation, history, collecting things, playing games and studying and learning all sorts of new things. I much more prefer the quiet life and love to be snuggled up next to the person I care about watching movies and having laughs together. I'd like to meet someone who is equally loyal, affectionate, and loves spending time together. Something unconventional and memorable. I guess I'm an idealist so if we ended up hitting it off I'd want it to be a story that we could tell 20 years down the road with fondness. Follow this with a walk in the park, weather permitting, to unwind. Perhaps retire to one's place to continue the conversation. I prefer dates that don't have a time limit on them so that we can really enjoy each other. Dinner is okay as long as it's part of a larger date, but I definitely don't like cliches like going to a movie. Who wants to go to a movie with someone you're trying to get to know, but are just going to sit there in silence with in the theater, haha?
