Well…what could I write to make myself stand out from the thousands of other fish in this pond…..How does…honesty…no drama…no games sound?Here goes…….I guess I should start off by saying I am a happy, fun, and energetic person. I love learning new things and seeking out new places to discover. I love travelling and discovering new places….loading up the truck with the trailer, kayaks and bikes allow me the freedom to go anywhere, anytime. It’s endless!!! What can be better than a day of back country exploring and discovery followed up by a roaring campfire…..only thing missing is someone to discover these places with. I live a healthy lifestyle…..eating, exercising…I don’t care for the gym so I stay active by participating in sports (hockey) and going to the pool. Besides, nobody seems to go for a beer and a plate of nachos after the gym.I don’t tend to watch much tv if it isn’t sports related, but if I do take in a movie it would be an action, drama or comedy flick…not a big fan of horror, I can’t handle the music…it freaks me out too much.Music…I pretty much enjoy all types…I could definitely live without rap though and not be too shaken up. I have been taking piano lessons again…so if you want to sing along to Yankee doodle or Twinkle Twinkle… I could use a little help.I live on a lake and enjoy all the area has to offer from kayaking to ice fishing to a simple campfire in the backyard. People who have known me for years do not know I have a doctorate and never will because I am not the kind of person who would ever bring it up in conversation.What the degree does say about me, is that I am a life-long learner. I'm not getting any more degrees, but I am constantly trying to learn more today than I knew yesterday. That being said, I am not going to lie about it. If it is a problem, best to know sooner than later. This is the biggest problem with meeting on sites like this one. We look at the labels and the photos and because we can't meet or communicate with everyone, we "weed out" based on one-word markers that actually have very little to say about the spirit if the person with that title. So guys, please help us ladies out and write more in your profiles. Even if it is not inspired literature to read, if we only have "just the facts" we may miss you in the crowd. Happy hunting folks.
