About Me

Fit, fun, athletic woman who is looking for someone of the same mind. I was in a marriage for 20 years and served in the United States Air Force for 21 years. So as you can see, I have no problems committing to someone, or something I believe in. I have four children and my oldest three are all serving our country and the US Army on active duty. My youngest son still lives with me at home and I have sole custody of him. His dad is not involved so you must love kids and/or be open to being involved with someone who does. I have traveled all over the world but there is still so much more to see. I have been to 26 different countries and seen 40 of our 50 states. Some of these places I traveled to for vacation and then there are others that were not vacation spots that I was deployed to for operations while I was active duty. I am grateful for the experiences because it gave me a much better perspective on the world and what society thinks we do or do not need to be happy and survive. It really makes me so much more appreciative of the country we live in and for what I have at my very fingertips. For the past two years I have been a full time student. I graduated last year with my Liberal Arts AA degree and in May ***with an AAS in Biology with Healthcare Emphasis and an AA in Health Promotion. I hit the gym ***days a week. I lift weights ***days each week and I also take Insanity and Zumba classes regularly. Currently I am just relaxing and enjoying having this summer break from school. I have a slot to begin the RN program in Jan but am uncertain as to if that is what my passion in life is anymore. I really enjoy helping people and being in a profession that involves interaction but at this point in life, am not sure I want to put in the long hours and shift work that it entails.Physical attraction and chemistry are important to me. I don't want to sound superficial and am being realistic. I know looks aren't everything and things tend to not be where they used to be as we age....such is life. However, I do whatever I can to stay healthy naturally while I still have the capacity to do so and I hope to find someone who feels the same. I am an active, physical, educated woman with a humorous/sarcastic side. I believe in PDA and enjoy showing my partner I enjoy being in his company. Chemistry happens....or not, once you meet someone; it is either there or it isn't, even if it's an underlying attraction. ATTRACTION....(by photos on here) is what gets you the meeting in the first place. So, if you don't have a photo posted, chances are I will probably not respond. There is usually a reason why there is no photo (ie married etc)How each individual views or defines their body type is subjective/open to interpretation. I define mine as athletic but after viewing many profiles of men who also say they are athletic, I see that like beauty is in the eye of the beholder....so is athleticism. I don't think "strong" means fit or "athletic", but hey, I am but one mere small opinion. We are all attracted to different features and body types so please don't be offended by what I have said. I have been told there is someone out there for everyone and I am hoping that is true. I believe in God and/or a higher power. I attend church regularly. I am not "religious" but do believe that we become like those whom we surround our selves with/the company we keep. If you want to be smarter, surround yourself with smart people etc., etc. I am not a fanatic about either the gym or church but find motivation and inspiration in both. I want to keep myself fit mentally, emotionally, physically as well as spiritually. Just like you don't have to go the gym to be in shape, you don't have to attend church to be a great man or spiritual. I am open to a variety of options for a first date, it could be a simple as meeting for dinner or drinks, or a walk in the park. I am a very active person so that opens up many outdoor activities if the situation permits.

    To begin with, I'm grateful for the life I've had so far. There have been some dreams come true and some absolute surprises, and I've valued it all. I'm not looking to change my life, but I would like to move forward from here as part of a partnership. I've degrees in theology and forestry and can wield a pretty fierce chainsaw (but never in a destructive, non ecologically friendly manner!) *** This is cool: Pick any 3 digit number where no digit is repeated and the largest one comes first. (the order of the second 2 don't matter.) Now, reverse it and subtract the reversed number from the original number. (if you end up with 99, add a 0 to the front 'cause you need 3 digits.) Is the middle digit of your answer 9?? And do the first and last digits add up to 9?? Bet they do! Now, take your answer. Reverse it. Add the reversed number to the original answer number. Does it add up to ***?? Isn't that crazy??? Maybe I'm too easily impressed, but I love that! I'd really like to just get together and talk.
