Because they are older, I find that I have more time to spend on myself, so this is a perfect time to see what the next phase of my life might bring. So, let's get together for coffee/tea and conversation and see if we have that "spark". If it works great, if not, that's okay too, we have to start somewhere. To begin with, I'm grateful for the life I've had so far. There have been some dreams come true and some absolute surprises, and I've valued it all. I'm not looking to change my life, but I would like to move forward from here as part of a partnership. Everything is better when it's shared with someone who will be as wide-eyed with wonder as you are with the greatness of it all. I love the outdoors and all it has to offer. I'm crazy about being on the water. I'm addicted to running. There was a time in my life when my entire music collection consisted of nothing but Tom Waits (I've since diversified.) I'm a crossword hound and I play a mean game of Scrabble. I've degrees in theology and forestry and can wield a pretty fierce chainsaw (but never in a destructive, non ecologically friendly manner!) *** This is cool: Pick any 3 digit number where no digit is repeated and the largest one comes first. (the order of the second 2 don't matter.) Now, reverse it and subtract the reversed number from the original number. (if you end up with 99, add a 0 to the front 'cause you need 3 digits.) Is the middle digit of your answer 9?? And do the first and last digits add up to 9?? Bet they do! Now, take your answer. Reverse it. Add the reversed number to the original answer number. Does it add up to ***?? Isn't that crazy??? Maybe I'm too easily impressed, but I love that! I'd really like to just get together and talk. Hello. I am a musician, gardener, flea market addict and lots more. I'm down to one child left at home and am ready to start having my own adventures. I did not want to list that, as it seems to imply things about me that are just not true. I am a very approachable and ordinary person in most respects. People who have known me for years do not know I have a doctorate and never will because I am not the kind of person who would ever bring it up in conversation.What the degree does say about me, is that I am a life-long learner. I'm not getting any more degrees, but I am constantly trying to learn more today than I knew yesterday. That being said, I am not going to lie about it. If it is a problem, best to know sooner than later. This is the biggest problem with meeting on sites like this one. We look at the labels and the photos and because we can't meet or communicate with everyone, we "weed out" based on one-word markers that actually have very little to say about the spirit if the person with that title. So guys, please help us ladies out and write more in your profiles. Even if it is not inspired literature to read, if we only have "just the facts" we may miss you in the crowd. Happy hunting folks.
