About Me

To begin with, I'm grateful for the life I've had so far. There have been some dreams come true and some absolute surprises, and I've valued it all. I'm not looking to change my life, but I would like to move forward from here as part of a partnership. Everything is better when it's shared with someone who will be as wide-eyed with wonder as you are with the greatness of it all. I love the outdoors and all it has to offer. I'm crazy about being on the water. I'm addicted to running. I'm entirely lacking in social media skills and still haven't quite figured out the ins and outs of ***'s nothing I wouldn't do for my eleven-year-old daughter, whom I've raised alone since the day she was born. (All of my adventures include her. She's been skillfully edited out of the photos - or she's taking them.) There was a time in my life when my entire music collection consisted of nothing but Tom Waits (I've since diversified.) I'm a crossword hound and I play a mean game of Scrabble. I've degrees in theology and forestry and can wield a pretty fierce chainsaw (but never in a destructive, non ecologically friendly manner!) *** This is cool: Pick any 3 digit number where no digit is repeated and the largest one comes first. (the order of the second 2 don't matter.) Now, reverse it and subtract the reversed number from the original number. (if you end up with 99, add a 0 to the front 'cause you need 3 digits.) Is the middle digit of your answer 9?? And do the first and last digits add up to 9?? Bet they do! Now, take your answer. Reverse it. Add the reversed number to the original answer number. Does it add up to ***?? Isn't that crazy??? Maybe I'm too easily impressed, but I love that! I'd really like to just get together and talk. I'm not very good at the whole 'monologue' thing, but look forward to the give and take of dialogue.Best of luck to all. Something casual and in the daylight.

    I love to go for those sweet walks on the beach, dinner out or cooked at home, go to a movie or watch something on TV, but I believe that doing the mundane, everyday tasks, like grocery shopping... is what gives you an idea of how things might go.
