First meeting… You know it’s me when I walk in the door, just because I smile so big when I see you sitting at the bar. I sit beside you, order a glass of wine. We laugh for hours as we tell each other stories about anything; with every story I want to hear more.We agree we must do something again… On to the first date… oh where to go… deep down inside, I really want you to pick. My first date preference is someplace where we can talk and laugh. Dinner is an easy choice; I enjoy places with delicious food… I’m comfortable in a hole in the wall or 4 star restaurants... I just need to know which before we go, it’s all about the shoes and how high my heels are. I normally stay away from chain restaurants, although they are great for work happy hour by my office. I’m a huge fan of wine and tapas bars… YUM. . If we went bowling, you could laugh at me as every other ball is either a gutter ball or a strike.     If you got the U2 reference .. then we might be on the same page .. I Love doing a lot of things .. mostly outdoors .. I totally LOVE my bike .. I spend hours riding all over the place .. it's pretty much my favorite way to explore anywhere .. pretty much anything outside on a beautiful sunny day is awesome .. I seriously love being on or near the water .. I'm definitely a toes in sand kind of person .. I will do pretty much anything .. water ski or wake surf ( I'm not great at it .. but haven't had a lot of practice trying the wake surf thing .. it's pretty cool though :) I loved paddleboarding on the Rideau River by Manotick last summer .. wish I owned my own Sea doo cause that is awesome fun .. will canoe/Kayak/whatever is happening .. love to walk for hours .. am totally into seeing every cool little town with some history and kick ass heritage buildings ... everything is old and completely interesting .. so exploring on daytrips or whatever works is definitely a great way to spend time .. I do some hiking .. maybe I should just call it extreme walking!! lols .. whether its Summer or Winter .. being outside is a must .. I do some skiing (downhill) & have awesome new skiis .. never tried snowboarding (Yet) .. will definitely snowmobile but do not have one ... so that is always nice that they share :) .. I Love to read .. drink very large complicated Cappuccino's that I am quite capable of making for myself .. but do very much enjoy having out & about while walking .. am picky about TV .. love certain shows .. despise any & all reality TV .. ok .. this is like a short novel .. am I done yet .. is that enough ?? Oh .. Yeah .. I do really love to listen to a lot of music .. U2 of course .. & all of the music I grew up listening to .. (don’t think have actually totally grown up yet cause would pick a sitting on a dock under the stars over almost anything anyone could come up with for a date :) A long walk .. checking out a cool place .. having a nice coffee .. or sitting on a dock under the stars .. walking on the beach .. still having that coffee :)

    Happily imperfect, but very real. I laugh at inappropriate things, (like fart jokes) and love a really great prank. And I tend to snort when I'm having a good laugh. I have a bit of a potty mouth and my default leans towards sarcasm. I'm a lot more than just a smart ass though. Underneath that funny side I'm a softie with a big heart. I think the highlight moments of life are wonderful, but find joy in the simple things. I'm fairly intelligent and can put up a good fight for things I believe in. I am fiercely loyal to my family and friends. And I'm not a bad cook either. I like hanging out with friends, going to concerts (although not as often as I'd like), riding roller coasters, love watching football and hockey and my kids play ball, nice long fall walks, road trips or curling up with a good book. I've almost always got music playing and there's not much I don't like. I like to go to dinner and a movie but am just as happy staying home cooking a nice dinner, or even ordering a pizza. It's not where but who you're with that really matters, and I like to be with good people. Right now I'm looking to get out and meet new people. I'm open to giving something a chance if the chemistry is right. Life is good - the right person could make it better. Life's too short to settle. I'm not into hooking up or playing games. If that's your thing, no judgement here, but please move along. Hopefully something that lets us talk and laugh. I'm pretty open - except to meeting in the parking lot behind Dunkin' Donuts (or any parking lot)!
