So, I am a single girl who is overall happy with her life, who has great friends and a great job, but is also looking to share fun times and experiences with someone special who has similiar interests. I have been on my own for a long time so I am independent to a point, and would definitely like to meet someone who is also somewhat independent, but can also be there for their respective partner on an emotional, intellectual, and physical level.     If you got the U2 reference .. then we might be on the same page .. I Love doing a lot of things .. mostly outdoors .. I totally LOVE my bike .. I spend hours riding all over the place .. it's pretty much my favorite way to explore anywhere .. pretty much anything outside on a beautiful sunny day is awesome .. I seriously love being on or near the water .. I'm definitely a toes in sand kind of person .. I will do pretty much anything .. water ski or wake surf ( I'm not great at it .. but haven't had a lot of practice trying the wake surf thing .. it's pretty cool though :) I loved paddleboarding on the Rideau River by Manotick last summer .. wish I owned my own Sea doo cause that is awesome fun .. will canoe/Kayak/whatever is happening .. love to walk for hours .. am totally into seeing every cool little town with some history and kick ass heritage buildings ... everything is old and completely interesting .. so exploring on daytrips or whatever works is definitely a great way to spend time .. I do some hiking .. maybe I should just call it extreme walking!! lols .. whether its Summer or Winter .. being outside is a must .. I do some skiing (downhill) & have awesome new skiis .. never tried snowboarding (Yet) .. will definitely snowmobile but do not have one ... so that is always nice that they share :) .. I Love to read .. drink very large complicated Cappuccino's that I am quite capable of making for myself .. but do very much enjoy having out & about while walking .. am picky about TV .. love certain shows .. despise any & all reality TV .. ok .. this is like a short novel .. am I done yet .. is that enough ?? Oh .. Yeah .. I do really love to listen to a lot of music .. U2 of course .. & all of the music I grew up listening to .. (don’t think have actually totally grown up yet cause would pick a sitting on a dock under the stars over almost anything anyone could come up with for a date :) A long walk .. checking out a cool place .. having a nice coffee .. or sitting on a dock under the stars .. walking on the beach .. still having that coffee :)

    How do you describe what you are looking for and want? Tell the reader all about yourself and paint them a picture as to who you are, where you have been and where you want to go? Seems like allot like homework, lol. I believe there is a reason for everything. I have worked hard at my military career and raising my children. Now it's just me and my dog(Marley) What do I want? I want a best friend who loves to be outside doing whatever, mowing, gardening, on the beach, sitting in the swing, going for a walk, camping and the list could go on forever. I want to travel to places I've never been. Learn things I have never done(to golf). Eat food I have never tried, just so I can say I did. Just to live life to the fullest. To laugh until my stomach hurts and always have a smile on my face. A best friend to share all of this with and someone to be with, but a good teacher(with lots of patience if your going to teach me to golf) I think that sums it up pretty good. If you want to know more, *** I let you know. I am always open to dinner or a movie even if it is for only one date, if we hit it off and become good friends there will be more. One day at a time, The one thing I have learned about me is I have no type--no typical tall, dark and handsome description I'd give you to describe what I'm looking for. I love a man who is a deep thinker but has a happy, humorous personality. I'm very independent so someone who is confident is huge for me. I won't bother listing sincere, honest, considerate, thankful, thoughtful, and hey if you're physically fit that can't hurt either because does anyone want a lying, cheating rude partner. I'm very passionate about everything so cynical people crack me up and usually I will win you over because I do my best to see the best in everyone but if you're not excited about living, life, relationships and helping people we probably won't be a good match As far as the first date, I am not picky.
