In many ways, I am not your typical "gal." I would rather watch a gangster movie than a chick flick and I do not fit into your typical demographic for a woman my age, geographic location. But I do not like to nor try to hurt people.I tend to be attracted to people who see things a little differently than most. A slightly sick or twisted sense of humor is a plus. If one of your goals in life is to own a Harley or you like "new" country music, I am sorry but you want a different woman. I am truly "drama free" as they say. I have a civil relationship with my ex and I lead a pretty laid back life. Making more stress and strife for myself would just sap me of energy I need for other things. However, if you are a guy who states "I am looking for no drama" that usually tells me that you are attracted to exactly that type of woman,,,,,, you can't help it and you may not even realize it.If you put me in your "favorites" but do not message me, I will not contact you. If you want to see the real thing, try to meet me in person. Pictures don't tell the whole story, anyway.Animals are a big part of my life. I am quite involved in a rescue. If you have no pets that's fine. It is better that someone doesn't have pets because they could not or would not take on the responsibility than have them and not take care of them..... just like kids. If you have made it this far, coffee, ice cream or a couple of drinks at a semi-quiet or relaxed location would probably be best. If you make me laugh like crazy and are smart it doesn't matter what or where the date is.

I love the idea of a Renaissance woman, and while I can't yet claim to be that, my goal in life is to learn about everything and, more importantly, how to do everything. So over time I've gained a few useful skills - give me a call if you need your roof fixed, a window replaced, a leaky faucet repaired, or a wall moved. I like projects (and power tools!). And have a heated discussion on the way home about whether string theory really does fit in to the explanation of how the universe began. On our first date, you'll pick me up in your late model Ferrari that you personally converted to full electric and charged on your 10 megawatt solar panel array before you left home. Since you already have a deep understanding of my personality from reading my profile, you know to show up exactly 7 minutes late while I flutter around trying to decide which earrings will properly reflect my unique balance of deep intellectualism and runway model fashion sense. After a few introductory niceties, you whisk me off towards a great little local restaurant run by a former celebrity chef where the entire menu, produce as well as livestock, is raised on a small plot of land behind the restaurant. We play and laugh with the free range chickens while we wait for our table to be prepared. Throughout dinner, we charm one another with our intellect and wit, sharing stories of past adventures and lifelong dreams. After dinner, you drive us by the beach, where we walk barefoot along the surf in the moonlight and happen upon a sea turtle nest where the hatchlings are just emerging. We marvel at the miracle of nature as the hatchlings make their way into the foamy waters, their fate unknown. The moonlight sparkles on the water, a pair of dolphins leap gracefully into the air. Our eyes meet. Without a single word being spoken, we exchange a devilish smile, strip down to our bathing suits (that apparently we were wearing under our clothes all evening), and dive into the warm waters. I had no idea you were a former olympic medal swimmer - you didn't include that in your profile! The local public radio station plays quietly on the car stereo as we each silently reflect on the evening and marvel at the connection between us. We're not certain when, but we will meet again.
