Just them words are pressure. Your meeting someone online for the 1st time? So Save the first date till after you physically meet one another and see that you have that attraction, chemistry and a connection between the 2 of you. Meet have a cup of coffee. Then if you both agree that you want to see one another again? Then make your first date. If you have that awkward silience that just does not leave and you feel that there is no connection you should both call it a nite why try to force your heart to feel an attraction thats just not there? Hi all. I have been on hiatus for some time now even though I said I"m ready to start back up. The truth is, I'm nervous about it. While I want a relationship, I need to learn how to date again and that seems scary to me. Slow, easy, and fun is how I want to start this phase of my life.The last time I was active here, there were so many guys who were "into" working out, it became a turn off. I'm not suggesting the gym is a bad thing, I'm just not interested in "muscles". I will never be one to work out at the gym several times a week. My job keeps me pretty active. I like walking my dogs, leisurely bike rides, swimming in my pool, and doing yard work. These are my kind of activities. Hanging with friends doing whatever is always a great time. I enjoy spending time with my kids.I'm looking for someone who is real, honest, and knows how to communicate. I have a few furry pets including 2 nosy, needy, loving yellow labs. You should be an animal lover or you probably won't like visiting me. We can go to see the Bruins and on the drive in town, be planning a trip to the theatre somewhere down the road. It would be great having someone to travel with, as well as to relax with, or do things around home. The most peaceful place for me is the ocean. I used to spend a lot of time there when my kids were young, and am missing it. I enjoy biking the canal because I sometimes plan to spend a little time at Scussett Beach. I would like to spend more time at the beach, holding hands with an adult now rather my kids. I am very independent and can come on strong, but I really am a kind person. I am honest and sincere. I can even be funny sometimes. My youngest just finish his first year of college, and I' need to work on 'me time'.
