Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
Intro: New to the area and entertaining the possibility of finding someone with mutual attraction/chemistry and complimenting personalities (Yin-Yang)...then see where it may go from there? Although I'm not in any rush to be in a relationship, if the right man came along I'm fully capable (emotionally and physically) of being in a LTR should it reach that level over a period of time. I'm not a serial dater and selective in who I communicate with or meet---let's face it, we pretty much know what we want or don't want at this stage in our lives. Favorite foods/places: Tortellini de Crema in Sicily;; Bratwurst in Germany;..sorry mates. Although I don't require the person I'm with to be a world traveler, I would prefer someone who likes to travel/sightsee and doesn't view it as point A to B, but a journey along the way. For Fun: Enjoy a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, such as, but not limited to: golf, softball (play on a local coed team), reading, camping, puzzles, skiing, darts/poker, good movie, a day on the beach, or spending time with my two sons ***and 23 y.o. both serving in the Army) when I can as they're stationed in different states. I'm pretty much open to anything, definitely not a sissy [even rode a bull once and rappelled off a perfectly good building], but do have a few exceptions like eating raw oysters or jumping into subfreezing water. If the only activity or discussion you enjoy is work, prof. sports or holding a remote, then we won't work out---I prefer someone who's active, versatile, diverse and able to 'balance' my needs as well as theirs.More info: Now I'm probably going to shock most men [and paralyze most women] but I HATE TO SHOP, loathe it really. I'm an 'independent thinker', so I don't have any preset religious, spiritual, scientific or political beliefs. My boys are grown, on their own, and enjoying my second stage of independence---so I don't wish to date someone who's actively raising young children. About me: I prefer rock and roll (classic) but listen to others (except rap) depending upon my mood; not judgmental but can be blunt (tell it like I see it); able to discuss/debate on a variety of subjects; spontaneous; adventurous; like romance (what woman doesn't) but hate smothering. Also, independent, confident, active, playful and kindhearted with a good sense of humor. ***If you don't have a pic or fairly recent one don't bother responding---it's only fair that if you can see me, I see you too.***DISCLAIMER. Ground rules: 1) Be respectful; 2) NOT into meeting for sex [select "intimate encounter" for that]; and 3) If you're an alcoholic or chemical/drug abuser please move on. A cup of coffee, game of miniature golf, or light lunch at a sidewalk bistro would be a nice place to start.

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
Here's a pretty easy idea: A guy sees a picture of a girl and is interested so he reads her profile. That's kind of important because he would know if she was his body type or to see what she wants from meeting someone. If that looks good, he can say hello to her. He could engage her in a conversation. Then they might meet casually for a coffee or soda. If they click, they might schedule a real date. They might go to the movies or grab lunch. If they got along, phone calls and texting would be cool. I'm sure by then they've kissed or held hands, maybe more. Chemistry can move along as fast as physics. ;)Please don't take the above paragraph as smart alecky or sarcastic. It's just an idea. It seems easier to me than looking at a picture, then asking for a body shot only to say, "You're not my physical type." Or, "Ohhhh, so you don't want to sleep with me on the first date." Or even, "I want a full-time girlfriend who answers me every time I call/text/breathe.Move in now." I'm looking for something fun and refreshing, so yeah, I am taking that leap of faith that someone is out there for me and I for him. I am attractive, fairly confident, creative, and looking for someone who's the same. I'm definitely not looking for perfect, just someone who likes to laugh and spend good times together. If you don't care for full-figured women, then please keep looking for what you do like. Guess there has to be some sort of chemistry between people. I think I'm easy to talk to and easy to get along with. I saw a sign once that said, "Nice matters." and I think it does~still, even today. I have a sharp sense of humor. I am looking for some sort of connection, and am looking for someone to laugh with and enjoy things together. I'm looking for someone to talk with daily, uplift each other, and find friendship besides. Being comfortable with someone is important, I think, but so too is a spark. I'd love to get to know someone before jumping right into a full-fledged relationship. I like the outdoors and being by the water. I like to garden and dig around in the dirt. I like to watch people because they're so interesting. Love to listen to music, especially live bands and singers.I love pets and animals. I work with kids so I like them too. A nice day for me is simple. I don't need to be entertained, I just like good company. I'd like to meet for a drink or a coffee and see if we are somewhat compatible. We can talk for a little bit. After that...who knows? We can make the call from there...A real first date might be going out for lunch or taking lunch to the nearest picnic table. We could go to a movie. We could go to an event that's happening locally.

Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
My goal is to meet someone who is not afraid to be who they are and is willing to take a risk to find the ever elusive "happiness" we are all looking for. I am 47 single, never been married and do not think I would like to have children (my own) at this point. I am open to meeting someone who has children. It is important to me that you be available both emotionally and with your time availability. Building a relationship takes a commitment to both. A good sense of humor is a huge plus! I enjoy many outdoor activities throughout the year...I am a New Englander and love the seasons and the different activities that come along with each. I enjoy boating, camping, hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling. I also enjoy cooking, a good glass of wine, gardening and getting my hands dirty with "around the house" projects.I am very lucky to have loving and supportive family members and friends who mean the world to me. I love to entertain and it would be nice to have a partner who also would like to get together with others and share good food and fun! I believe that education and life long learning (about any subject matter) contribute to a person as an individual, and to society as a whole. We all have a responsibility to "participate" as best we can, to making a difference in our everyday lives, and to treating one another with respect.Random acts of kindness are awesome - do one today.
