Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
I am a registered surgical nurse by trade, and an amateur writer by practice. I'm looking for someone to share life experiences with, someone that knows who they are, and what they want in life...because that is where I am. I have been alone for awhile, and I can be comfortable with that, but ultimately I would like to meet someone with similar goals towards a relationship. My baggage is light, my heart is pure, and my soul is searching for its mate. My ideal mate is someone that is confident and independent, strong and secure, yet warm, kind, loving and generous. I am happy baiting a hook, dressing up for a night out on the town, or staying home cooking dinner together and snuggling on the couch. If you feel that anything I have mentioned rings true to you, please send me a message. Thanks...and if my words do not connect with you, then...best wishes on your search. Meeting for coffee or a glass of wine, dinner or a movie, or just a walk on the beach. As long as the atmosphere is good for talk and laughter, I think it would be good. Hopefully a connection will be made...either friendship or a relationship. I am open for suggestions...

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
Well where do I begin....My friends describe me as fun, out going, caring, confident, smart and a very giving person. I take pride in my appearance as I exercise regularly and love to dress for the occasion. I'm looking for that special someone who is charming, honest and has a great sense of humor. A true gentleman who shares common interests and has a positive outlook on life. A man who values family and tradition and also takes pride in his appearance. I'm not into games, life is too short. I'm looking for someone who wants to be in a relationship with meaning and see where it takes us. My husband of 22 years passed away 6 years ago. So now I feel it's my time to begin a new chapter in my life. One of my greatest accomplishments is raising my children. They are my pride and joy and mean the world to me. They are wonderful and I have to say very well adjusted.I have a nice career and love what I do. To me finding the right balance is key. I love the beach and anything that involves being on the water. I love walking around NYC I enjoy the theater and also the diversity that NYC brings. Keeping active, and living a healthy life style is important to me as well. I enjoy sports and attending sporting events. Cooking and going out to eat. Holding hands, hugging and cuddling by a fire.....yes a romantic at heart!Meeting new people and getting to know them is part of the fun. Lastly, I love children so if you do not like children no need to respond. Good luck with your fishing! Also, I will not respond if you do not have a photo. I think a great first date is to enjoy a nice quiet dinner or meet for cappuccino at a cafe.....

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
Friendship first, then we'll see how it goes. I'm quiet at first until I get to know someone. I love animals, reading - especially mysteries with a paranormal twist, music, movies, taking walks, day trips, and technology. And of course I'm open to new interests with the right person. I love quotes and I think too much. So I guess you could say I'm a bit of a philosopher. At the same time, I tend to see the humor in the everyday. Humor makes life quite enjoyable. In my leisure time I prefer not to rush. I was married for 24 years. Chemistry and personality are most important, and a picture doesn't tell the whole story. We won't know if we have it until we meet, and that attraction isn't rational. It's easy to list qualities of the type of person we think we'll be attracted to, but the reality isn't that simple. Work is important but it's not the only thing. I enjoy being around people who don't take themselves or life too seriously. I'm looking for a guy who is real, kind, has a sense of humor, and thinks our time together is special. And we can be ourselves. Someone to spend time with, even it's just hanging out together, taking a walk or snuggling while watching a movie. Even doing the everyday mundane things we all have to do with your partner makes it all worthwhile. I saw this quote and thought it summed up how I view finding that special someone at this point in my life:"Midlife love rocks, and not because it pushes loneliness out of the picture. It's because we've lived long enough to understand how important this kind of connection is - at any age - and how blessed we are to have found it. And since time is a precious commodity, we're less inclined to play games and more inclined to ask for what we want. -- Maybe something simple like coffee and conversation, or it could be a drink before a movie. Whatever it is that will help us relax and be ourselves.
