I have no real hobbies, i just like to go to the gym after work and relieve some stress from the work day. I would like to get involved in cycling, and stay in shape or get in better shape. I have been divorced for 10 years. I have raised my 3 teens on my own they are Ages 20, almost 17 and 13 I tend to spend a lot of time alone since if you know teens they don't like to spend too much time with their parents. My hopes are to meet that special person that could do things with us as a family. I'm not getting any younger so i would love to try new things and stay as active as possible. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors. I really don't like the bar scene anymore and am a shy person until i get to know the person. I'm not thrilled about dating but that is the only way i feel i will find the best friend i am looking for. I have been self employed for 21 years. I would like to meet an Honest,caring man that has interest in being a family man. Life is way to short and i have been single for 3 years and would like to find that special best friend and maybe someday more than just a friend.

... so I'm back.I am a disabled Navy Veteran, serving 10 yrs.My first new vehicle purchase was a ***Suzuki GS ***LZ, couldn't afford a Harley on an E-4's rate of pay.I am active, curious, adventurous and more of a tomboy but always a lady ;) Not much of a drinker anymore these days but I do enjoy an occasional buzz. I don't have many hobbies. I like to travel. History is a passion I have. Enjoy spending time with my family, but they are not always available and like to do the same thing that I do. I must say that while I enjoy the great outdoors. Camping and hiking. I don't enjoy boats or motorcycles. I can swim but am afraid of water. I learned to swim by my dad throwing me in a river. I did learn to swim but when I can't see the bottom makes me very uneasy. But have been on 2 cruises and love it. Have been divorced for five years now. So I love to travel. Would be better with someone special. I will travel by boat, train car and airplane but not motorcycles! I just don't like them. I have 1 beautiful daughter and a great all "boy" grandson who is 10. Both are the loves of my life. I stay pretty busy with him. I am very involved with my church. It's small but with a very big heart. I love children and teaching children. I can't imagine living anywhere else. But would be willing to move for the right person. I enjoy going to the beach, but would love to travel out West. I do enjoy reading and doing crossword puzzles. I like all kinds of music, but not into the bar scenes. I'm really easy going, my family thinks I'm to trusting. But I believe in giving everyone the benefit off doubt first. I hate drama, and refuse to have it around me. But I can great "passionate" when need be. I fight for what s right and what I believe in. I may have said to much, but just want to be honest about certain things and not waste anyone's precious time. I prefer a simple lunch or dinner. No bar.
