Friendship first, then we'll see how it goes. I'm quiet at first until I get to know someone. I love animals, reading - especially mysteries with a paranormal twist, music, movies, taking walks, day trips, and technology. And of course I'm open to new interests with the right person. I love quotes and I think too much. So I guess you could say I'm a bit of a philosopher. At the same time, I tend to see the humor in the everyday. Humor makes life quite enjoyable. In my leisure time I prefer not to rush. I was married for 24 years. Chemistry and personality are most important, and a picture doesn't tell the whole story. We won't know if we have it until we meet, and that attraction isn't rational. It's easy to list qualities of the type of person we think we'll be attracted to, but the reality isn't that simple. Work is important but it's not the only thing. I enjoy being around people who don't take themselves or life too seriously. I'm looking for a guy who is real, kind, has a sense of humor, and thinks our time together is special. And we can be ourselves. Someone to spend time with, even it's just hanging out together, taking a walk or snuggling while watching a movie. Even doing the everyday mundane things we all have to do with your partner makes it all worthwhile. I saw this quote and thought it summed up how I view finding that special someone at this point in my life:"Midlife love rocks, and not because it pushes loneliness out of the picture. It's because we've lived long enough to understand how important this kind of connection is - at any age - and how blessed we are to have found it. And since time is a precious commodity, we're less inclined to play games and more inclined to ask for what we want. -- Maybe something simple like coffee and conversation, or it could be a drink before a movie. Whatever it is that will help us relax and be ourselves.

Guess I should say up front that I would be open to a relationship with the right person, but just want to take it slow and not feel like I'm being pushed into anything. I want to becomes friends first and date with no commitment. If there is something there and after time if something develops that is fine. No pressure on either side:)I am a strong Christian and my faith means a great deal to me. For me to have a serious relationship with anyone down the road, that would have to be part of it. Probably best to get that out in the open right now. I love designing and creating anything from graphics to video to drawing and painting. A couple of my favorite things to do are fishing and camping. I'm happier outdoors fishing for catfish or bass, depends on my mood. I also like to dance and ride motorcycles.Love to go on trips, day or ***days. I love the feeling of being adventurous and/or just getting out of town.My goal in about ***years is to get a house on the river or some body of water because I love being outdoors that much. I have just started dancing lessons and would love to find someone to do that with me. Its really fun and I intend to stay with that. I would like to be with the sort of person who gets up and does things... not jsut sit back afraid to try something new. Please have a photo if contacting me, as I don't usually respond unless you have have one. (looks aren't a big deal, A lot of people are on here that have girlfriends or wives that they don't want to see their picture) So if you can't be upfront, don't contact me. I'm pretty easy going and probably the best way to start is to just meet for a lunch to see how our personalities go together. I am open to the possibility of dinner, a few drinks and/or a movie. Just don't ask me to come hang out at your house for a first date:)
