About Me

I would like to believe that there's a match out there for everyone. That somewhere right this moment, there's someone trying to find me. Someone missing the connection, who feels a tug at their heart and mind telling them that the love of their life is just around the corner...if only the look hard enough. I know I have this gap, this empty space in my heart and my life that I long to fill with love and warmth, laughter and romance. A man who lights up a room with his smile and makes me grateful for having him in my life. Someone I can shower with affection, be his best friend, lover and confidant. To show him every day how special he is, how amazing and fulfilled our lives would be together. Someone to laugh at my dorky side, wants to explore the world together, whose family is as important to him as mine is to me. Loyal, honest and kind. Not quick to anger but cares enough to argue a point if necessary. Who will love me in spite of my flaws or maybe even because of them. A giver and not a taker. Lots of laughter, silliness, deep conversation or frivolous chit chat. Hand holding, cuddling, longing stares deep into each others eyes, kissing like our lives depend on it. A love of the outdoors, likes to be active and travel an is physically fit. A love of music, art, travel, entertaining with friends or simply enjoying quality time together alone. A nice dinner out or pizza and a movie at home. Someone that appreciates my uniqueness and individuality. I like to think I am unique, probably a little bit quirky, definitely have my goofball moments. I'd like to find someone that is accepting of my differences, like tattoos and short flaming red hair (hey, I’m Irish!), someone who likes to give back to their community like I do would be wonderful. A man of tolerance and kindness, and who has a generosity of spirit. Are you out there? I sure hope so. I know I'm looking for you, maybe we'll meet in the middle. ;- With all the great works of art, there are endless topics of conversation. You can find out a lot about a person by how the perceive and appreciate art. Maybe a pub is more your speed? Catch a great live band, few drinks, play darts (I'm horribly dangerous, although no one's lost an eye yet) shoot some pool, a little dancing? Something outside of the box would be a welcome distraction, hmm...skydiving? I'm a big (albeit goofy) kid at heart. Anything that gets the blood pumping and has me laughing or smiling would be a fantastic date! : )

    Hi, Aside from what you've seen and read in my profile I have a variety of interests, with the 'exception' of going to bars, clubs, etc. I'm just not into the bar scene. I'm a very "Sweet, Simple and Sincere" woman who is looking for that 'One great guy' to share my life with. Plain and simple...I want to fall in love and share my life with someone who wants the very same! I like dining out, just started working out and getting serious about my health and life! It's a huge plus if we could get healthy together and share that lifestyle! I do enjoy going to a comedy club or watching a good comedy/movie at home. I'd love to find a guy who enjoys cooking together, takes pride in himself and his home and/or surroundings. It doesn't make a difference to me what your income is, but you should like what you do for a living and like who you are as a person. I gotta say...I do love a "Handy man!!" But it's definitely not a deal breaker!I believe that "Trust, honesty, communication and a sense of humor" are vital in a healthy relationship. I like things unclutterd and simple in my life. I don't like arguing (it's a waste of time.) I do "discuss" things though. It's important. I love to laugh and I've got a terrific sense of humor. I enjoy taking on projects around the house and doing things at the spur of the moment as well. Enjoying each others company and some of the same interests sounds wonderful to me. I enjoy a darn good BBQ with Family and good friends. I'm not a fan of winter but won't sit around like a couch potato because of it. Although, cuddling up to a good movie is high on my list! One of the things I've been wanting to do is move closer to my daughter and 2 grandsons. My hope is to meet a man who is not in to the 'down town' scene or clubs/bars. I really dislike 'clustered places. I'm more of the Burb type of woman than the city or country. I'm hoping by the time I'm ready to make that move...I'll have met someone wonderful to make that move with. "I am seeking a serious relationship and yes, I would definitely consider marriage."
