Hi, Thanks for visiting. I'm 48, love to laugh, enjoy good conversation, am single for the first time in a very long time and would love to find someone with compatible interests, including a simple desire to just hang out and enjoy each others' company. I'm not particular on how we might spend time together, as I enjoy a lot of variety in activities. My main interest is in finding someone who is sincere, authentic, can be direct about what they want and is willing to take a chance and explore the possibilities together. I work on felted wool sculptures for fun, and used to do it for a living. I'm uniquely intuitive, empathetic, thoughtful and kind. As part of that, I'm open minded, and can consider many points of view on any given subject. For example, I'm a liberal, but I love Adam Carolla. But I still feel like I'm getting to know this amazing town and would love someone to explore it with. I had a 17 year marriage, now divorced, and happily with no baggage. Not every divorce has a villain, and I'm grateful to be spared baggage, and drama in that department. I have a 14 year old daughter, who lives with me half the time. I love being a parent, but am also enjoying the freedom of being "kid-free" and getting to create a richer life for it. So, the best of both worlds.I can be assertive, but would really love a man who would also like to take the lead, and isn't afraid to.I've never been to Timberline and have just realized that. I would like to do that on a date some time. I'm most interested in the fact that you have interests, and are not content to sit and watch tv every night in lieu of being actively engaged in a life that you love, or are working to build.I'm proud of having survived a rough start in life, and not letting it define me. I'm more insightful and compassionate than most people you will meet because of it. Starting life like a feral cat means that I'm comfortable in my own skin, know what I want and need, know who I am and am comfortable in charting my own course, even if it doesn't match that of the mainstream. I hope that you, too, are accepting of yourself. Both because I would want that for everyone, but also because untormented types are usually easier to live with and more fun to be around.And, lastly, this year has been dedicated to firsts for me, and to trying new things.     I'm 50 years old, have two grown sons have children of their own and I was divorced 22 years ago. I love to dance, it's a great way to lose yourself and let go of stress and anxiety. I can also be a homebody, I love to entertain at home, cook a good meal and watch the game, a good movie or just socialize. I would love to travel more, see some things I haven't seen, yet I want to share that with someone. I tend to prefer men who are fit and take care of themselves physically. Fitness is a big deal in my life. Though I do watch what I eat for the most part, I love food and part of the reason I work out is so that I can enjoy food. I don't smoke or do drugs and I am not interested in being around anyone who does. Money doesn't control me in the sense that what a man makes is important, I have been dirt poor and independently wealthy and I realize that my happiness isn't a result of how much money is in the bank. Obviously it's better to have a little, but its a bonus, not a precursor.Ultimately my motto's are simple: Be good to me because I will always be good to you, respect goes both ways, as does giving, loving and sharing. Be kind,faithful and considerate. Live your life with integrity. I strive to do and be all those things, I'm a work in progress, I'm not perfect and don't expect perfection, it doesn't exist. Communication is a must.. without it, what's the point. if you are not serious about finding someone to spend time with = get to know and have a possible relationship- don't waste my time and yours.. Dining out is nice also, no extravagance necessary though. I am easily entertained - not a high maintenance person at all. If there's a spark, great; if not, at least I've made a new friend...
