I’m an easy going, out-going, extrovert. I love to laugh and love being around people - but enjoy private (intimate) time just as much. My life is drama free and stable but by NO means boring. That's probably true because I love making people happy. I give out compliments often and blush when they are given to me. I’m proud to admit that I have a strong faith and a great respect for our military. I have a family full of military men former and present. So words like "Semper-fi" and "Hoo'rah" are commonly chanted at family gatherings (LOL). I guess that's why I'm a more grounded gal than "diva-ish." I've been in local government for ***years in the administrative/financial field. Yes, my job requires professional attire but I'm absolutely not as stuffy as my suits. I'm not into playing emotional games. I find that they are such a waste of precious time. I prefer open and honest. Friendship is “key” in all of my relationships. Romance, intimacy, communication and a sense of humor is a must in my partner (willingness to lead is a bonus).I work hard during the week so I like to enjoy the weekends. If the weather is nice I like going to special events (music or sporting), weekend get-aways, hanging out with friends, taking a walk on the beach, swimming or lounging in the pool, walking around our beautiful town, taking a romantic drive - enjoying the scenery, going to the farmer's market, watching a football game with friends/family, laughing a lot, camping in the RV or taking a bike ride. When the weather’s not so nice I catch up on home projects, watch a good flick, curl up with a good book (love to read), play the piano, sing, BUT, of course if you’re in a relationship there are “other“ things to do if it's raining outside! Whether you’re working out at a gym or at home, I believe it's very important to have a good fitness routine and stay healthy. Personally, I find if I stand bare in front of the mirror every day I can determine if I need to “up the cardio” in my work-out (currently, I've upped the cardio – just keepin it real folks!). What am I looking for in a partner? It’s simple really - compatibility and someone that I’m attracted to inside and out. Physical attraction is relevant but I’m mostly interested in your character. Just be open, honest and above all be yourself. If we’re compatible, maybe we can get together for a cup of coffee/ glass of wine; communicate via e-mail or phone and just see where it goes. If it doesn’t work out, hey - no worries. At the very least we may become great friends. If you’re seriously interested, send me a note but PLEASE don’t e-mail me if you just want to chat. I stay active - Finding or creating something every weekend...(not so much during the week-well, I can be persuaded...:). I am a bit of a planner, some things have to be planned months in advance - to make sure you get the right spot, right price..and all your friends know when to "plan" on it :) Camping, boating, wine tasting, traveling and exploring in the summer..happy hours, hiking, skiing, dancing, etc in the winter. (please dont read into that too much) Have a great a great job, car/truck, and house (ever been in a spool ?...) have ***lb ish dogs (no kids - but my dogs are not my kids..they have a doggie door and know how to feed themselves, so they dont limit what and when I can do things - love em though). I would like to find someone do things with other than friends..with friends sometimes..but not always. ..and if that leads to something more serious - great...I am looking for a best friend,that I am attracted to and respect, and just cant get enough of.. partner in crime, with benefits! Picked a sea horse, well because I have a tattoo of one -in a scuba dive flag..on my ankle. Music - roger clyne, jimmy buffett, reggae, acdc, nickelback..- please be geographically desirable :) I have heard of so many horror stories where people chat and ***/weeks..and get excited about things..and then the first meeting (if it ever gets around to that). They don't show..or when they do they look nothing like their picture..say they are 5'11 ..and aren't (I am 5'10)..or they say they are outdoorsy and just aren't (anymore). I would really just like to meet and have a drink and see if there is chemistry..most people know it right away..(don't they?) And despite many of my male friends telling me that every girl on this site is just looking for someone to buy dinner..or pay thier bills, or sex...none of the above for me - just figured I might meet someone that I wouldn't have met otherwise and we will see where it goes from there...
