Hi guys! Really this should be simple: I'm just a normal gal looking for a normal guy. Let me start by talking a little about the guy I'm looking for: I tend to be attracted to the clean-cut kind of guy - either kind of geeky or sporty (a combination of the two would be ideal). I'm not looking for a "bad boy" or a biker - although if you ride, it's not a deal breaker. I tend to go for guys who are intelligent, but also would enjoy a day at the ball park. Not into the bar/club scene to meet people - although I do like to occasionally go dancing and/or go out for drinks. Personality wise, I'm a positive, bubbly, outgoing gal who has a tremendously big heart (and tend to wear it on my sleeve). I like to think of the glass as "half full" and not sweat the small stuff. I have my teaching degree and taught first grade for awhile, but now I work at a daycare as the one year old teacher. My interests include outdoor activities (swimming, camping, boating, catching some rays), dinner or drinks out, comedy clubs, or dancing, as well as cuddling on the couch watching a good movie...and YES, I like to watch sports if my significant other is into that (Go Tigers!). I have two teenage daughters ***& ***so you'd have to be ok with that. Give me a chance - you may be pleasantly surprised.**Update: recently started eating better and working out again. Working on a lifestyle change, not just another diet. It comes off a lot more slowly than it goes on!!! :-)Some have asked why does my profile say "dating" vs. "LTR" - eventually I would love to be in a LTR, but I would never jump into one without getting to know that person a bit first...and that takes dating. BTW - not interested in the dating anyone younger than ***thanks, I'm flattered, but that's not really me. PS - if I look at your profile and don't contact you, but you think we may have some things in common, feel free to contact me. (Not interested in anyone under the age of ***thanks though!) I think a first date should be fairly short and be located where my date and I could actually talk and get to know one another a bit. BUT I'm generally up for a lot of different things.

    I've been told that I am perhaps a bit unusual....I'm not looking to be financially supported, fixed or completed by another person and I seek the same in my partner. Hopefully we have all learned from our past adventures and this is what now moves us forward into the future. I also feel that truth is most important, and having said this I want to also say that I don't believe in chronological age (this being the date of ones birth) the number I have included in my profile is based on my psychological age and my bio-markers.I'm not looking for a pen pal or a cyber-relationship and I would prefer to meet early on to see if anything "clicks" I haven't met the person I want to share the rest of the journey with yet, but I have met and maintained some wonderful friendships in the process. I also have come to realize that at this stage of the game, meeting and getting to know each other is very different from what it was ***years ago, I think most of us have different expectations now. I still believe it is necessary to first fall in love with our eyes and our minds, and then with our hearts...and only when this is in alignment can body and soul join in the dance.HINT: I often hear men lament; "what do women want"?????? A single rose at the grocery store costs $1.99, this could net the greatest ROI you've ever experienced!! The first date might be a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a walk/hike....perhaps plan to spend an hour or two together in a comfortable and casual environment and see what might want to happen from there.
