Im just a girl who wants all the things in life that a great relationship can offer. I love relaxing at the beach. A great night doesn't always have to involve an expensive restaurant..it can be hanging out while cooking dinner and cuddling on a couch. I am quite funny, fiercely loyal and appreciate a good sense of humor. I try and see the glass half full and be a happy person. I am looking for a best friend to grow old with! p.s. the guy in the picture is my brother! There is no one right answer for a first date. If the chemistry is right you can do anything and be happy.

I am a youthful, energetic woman who loves to laugh, enjoys a great glass of wine, hockey and any chance to be at the beach or on water (not necessarily in that order). I love music and movies, all types of food. I enjoy going out for an evening but can be just as happy sitting in front of a roaring fireplace cuddling, watching a movie or a hockey game. Now that my kids are independent and well on their way, I would like to travel to the Mediterranean and the Middle East. I want to turn the page, start a new chapter and begin an epic journey of discovery (PLEASE SELECT 1 CLICHE ONLY). I picture myself sitting alone in a restaurant, while reading a Harlequin romance novel, the man of my dreams bursts in with a grand flourish, strides purposefully towards me, our eyes lock together and the corners of his mouth start to curl in a sly grin, he rips the bodice of my dress..........Now back to reality. Frankly anyplace where we can meet and talk and connect would be great. The idea is to enjoy the conversation and not feel like a job interview (or a Harlequin romance).

Yeah... I know... the fairy tale thing. I guess I'm just not ready to give up on the possibility of finding it. I dont want anyone to complete me, I want someone who compliments or enhances me. Someone to laugh, cry, sit and do nothing...whatever is going on. Just want to meet someone who is ready to go on with their life and takes things day to day but who is very clear on their intent. I just finished a step in my education and am deciding whether I want to keep going. I'm pretty open to most music, except rap and head banging......I am back in school pursuing my Masters but still have some free time to spend with someone. And why is dating today so much different than 30 years ago? So many different rules that change CONSTANTLY. I hate the thought of dating. Maybe society should just go back to arranged relationships. Maybe Because people we know see things from a different perspective, they see a bigger picture and can pick better than we do or sometime maybe we over think. Who knows!!! Can't unburn bridges. Same as everyone.... someplace where we can sit and talk and get to know each other.... If it works them great. If not then that's OK too. Just be honest.
