I am an outdoors person. I love wildlife, hiking, biking rails to trails, kayaking, and photographing nature. I'm a teacher of 25 years and I still love waking up to go to my job. I'm patient with children and animals. I enjoy art such as pottery and mosaics. I want to move away from all the noise and shopping. I want to learn to live off the land. :) I mean, I want to grow my own veggies and maybe have chickens that don't have to be caged. I adore my two children and I'm very proud of who they are growing to be. I believe that love and relationships are about trust and honesty. I think it's a bit scary and wonderful. I am considerate and passionate. I want to meet a man that I trust with my deepest thoughts and feelings. I want a man that is comfortable sharing his deepest thoughts and feelings. I want to look forward to him coming home from where ever he is. I will be excited to jump into his arms (I don't weigh much, no worries) and hear all about his day. I will fight with him about building the fire cause I want to do it! We will fight fair and listen to each other and talk things out. We will respect each other and watch out for each other. We will not get too mad or jealous because we will know for certain that we love each other and would never intentionally hurt each other. Of course, those things can only happen if two people invest in a friendship first:) I guess there is one more thing I want to add, I have spent a great deal of time learning about myself and about the choices Ive made along my path.     Interested in ages * **** I love to just BE. It's not the easiest to let go of what happened yesterday and not to be anxious about tomorrow, but I truly believe in this and work constantly at it. It's liberating and frees up the heart and soul..... I enjoy the company of another in doing whatever activities we come up with. I've had a long-term relationship in Fitness and it continues to be important to me, however, obsessed Muscle-Heads need not apply---no longer have time for that. I prefer to wash and detail my own car and fix things around the house myself and not just the girlie things. :-) I'm quite self-sufficient, believe me. However! Is it so wrong to imagine my partner just taking care of me from time to time? Reciprocated, of course, when you're on your "deathbed" from that headcold.... :-) Personally, I continue to grow in many ways....so important! Something to share but not on a public profile … I'm probably too sensitive for my own good, but I’m a passionate person (Scorpio) and am fiercely protective of myself and those who are important to me. Tenacious, Strong-Willed, Compassionate, and as Silly as often as I can get away with.... I LOVE to laugh! I love easy and silly humor...... So! I will preface what you read next by saying that the following represents so much about me and how I feel. However, at the same time, I want to slowly build a friendship and not jump into the serious aspect too soon.I'm somewhat of an introvert, although you might not think so upon us meeting! I don't feel comfortable in large groups any longer....haven't figured out this one yet :-) But I will say, if there were a great club to go to for dancing, I'm there! I do know that I want that one on one best friend-in-a-man thing. Not the clingy thing, but just being content hanging out together and really enjoying it!...the list goes on.. Hiking, some reality shows (yup), and Concerts (from rock to classical), watching pro football games (go Titans!.. no comments, please). Love the Arts and live concerts: Dance, Comedy, Musicals, etc.....Calm communication is key towards a healthy relationship... You can ride emotional rollercoasters on your own; besides, they make me nauseaus. Make of a relationship what you want. Yours is the choice to believe it to be a gift or not. I’m an eternal romantic and appreciate the importance of having true romance in my life. I want to meet someone with great teeth and a warm smile, a truly open heart, honesty and real integrity. Someone not much older than myself; a little younger is fine :-) . I don't see where we can post the age range we look for, so I'll put it here: ***age range. I was open to longer distance, but if we can't see each on a regular basis, due to drive time, how could things go anywhere? Would it set us up for disappointment?     Life is to short..live it to the fullest, laugh, relax and enjoy. I am a pretty laid back country girl with a good sense of humor. I'm A Born Again Christian, It's Not About Religion, But About My Person Relationship With Christ. I enjoy outdoors, my vegetable garden, walks in the woods and on the beach, learning new things, having my grown and almost grown kids and their friends hang out at home-sometimes, my friends and family.
