I'm grounded, happy, have a great 15-year son. I have a big heart and will do anything for anyone I know. I'm surrounded by great friends. Love entertaining friends at home or meeting up with them for dinner. I can watch the snow fall from a window as easily as I can build a snowman or make a snow angel (which i do every year!). Love camping and enjoing the fresh air and being outdoors generally.I'm looking for someone that's easy talk to, secure, confident, has a good sense of humor, someone that can laugh at himself as well as me, someone who is tough and sensitive with a romantic/affectionate side. I will not fair well with someone i have to pull information out of. If we can't communicate and be friends, we can't have much of anything else. I'd like a guy who is flexible and can change my opinion on a topic as easily as I can change his -- or at least see both sides of any situation/story. Someone who has respect for all different points of view, especially his own. Someone who doesn't mind if the plans didn't work out as expected and is able to change gears and make Plan B work (aren't we all on Plan B now?). Someone who gets to know me and I know him. Pretty key that we like each other and we are each other's biggest supporter. The person that it feels comfortable with from the first meeting and, even tho we aren't together all the time, we always have that "can't get enough of you" feeling. Someone I look forward to seeing no matter how often or how little I see him. Having that excitment of "saying hello" every time...and that should be how it is. When he is across the room from me at a party, it's the same as if he was standing right next to me -- the glance across the room that says it all. Someone who always kisses me goodnight. First date? We can wing it! whatever makes sense -- coffee at a diner, drinks at a pub/bar, lunch at an Applebees, dinner at a casual place.

I work hard and I play hard! I am currently working two jobs and taking a class. That doesn't leave much time for anything else but I will make the time for the person who sparks my interest. I love to travel and that means a day trip, a weekend or a long adventure. I really do love all kinds of music, yes really all lol, but my favorite is classic rock. I can be caught playing air guitar in the kitchen quite often. I'm interested in art and I dabble in drawing & painting. I've been doing stained glass for a few years. My friends would tell you that I'm a Pollyanna - life is great no matter what and no matter how terrible things may be, it could be worse. I also read a lot - newspapers, magazines,books - can't get enough. There is so much info out there and so many things that can be learned. I hope to find someone who can challenge me with their intellect on different topics but who is still down to earth. Smart is sexy!!!I'm very independent and although I'm not looking for someone to "take care of me", you need to be able to hold your own. Along the same lines, you can't get to this age without having some baggage but it's what you do with your baggage. If you're constantly sifting thru yours please pass me by.
