I'm grounded, happy, have a great 15-year son. I have a big heart and will do anything for anyone I know. I'm surrounded by great friends. I enjoy going to sporting events, I try to get away a couple of vacations a year and a few long weekends where I can. I like day trips, overnight trips and long weekend stays. Love entertaining friends at home or meeting up with them for dinner. I can watch the snow fall from a window as easily as I can build a snowman or make a snow angel (which i do every year!). Love camping and enjoing the fresh air and being outdoors generally.I'm looking for someone that's easy talk to, secure, confident, has a good sense of humor, someone that can laugh at himself as well as me, someone who is tough and sensitive with a romantic/affectionate side. I will not fair well with someone i have to pull information out of. If we can't communicate and be friends, we can't have much of anything else. I'd like a guy who is flexible and can change my opinion on a topic as easily as I can change his -- or at least see both sides of any situation/story. Someone who has respect for all different points of view, especially his own. Someone who doesn't mind if the plans didn't work out as expected and is able to change gears and make Plan B work (aren't we all on Plan B now?). Someone who gets to know me and I know him. Pretty key that we like each other and we are each other's biggest supporter. The person that it feels comfortable with from the first meeting and, even tho we aren't together all the time, we always have that "can't get enough of you" feeling. Someone I look forward to seeing no matter how often or how little I see him. Having that excitment of "saying hello" every time...and that should be how it is. When he is across the room from me at a party, it's the same as if he was standing right next to me -- the glance across the room that says it all. Someone who always kisses me goodnight. First date? We can wing it! whatever makes sense -- coffee at a diner, drinks at a pub/bar, lunch at an Applebees, dinner at a casual place.

It's kind of hard to talk about yourself. Well here goes nothing. I am an out going person who gets along well with everyone. Anything goes with me. I love the summer months and enjoy traveling. I like watching baseball games on TV or in person (go Yankees) and like watching football too! Go Giants! Expecially love college basketball. Go Unconn!! I would have to say I am more a summer person than winter person. Especially enjoy the beach. If you're a person who doesn't like the water your not for me. I am a hard working easy going drame free slightly sarcastic funny affectionate woman looking for a hard working easy going drama free slightly sarcastic funny affectionate man. Here's the stats: Divorced, two kids. 20 year old son lives with me full time. He works full time, goes to school, just got a part time job, so I see him about five minutes a week. Know he has been home when the fridge is empty and the laundry basket is full. 17 year daughter in H.S, goes back and forth between me and their father. Have her one or two nights a week and every other weekend. In between that, looking for someone who is in a similar place, enjoys some of the same things I do, and is looking for a relationship that can grow and mature into a future. Some of my "things" In the winter: football (yes patriots)...coctails by the fire..bowling.. Not a huge fan of outdoor winter activities but wouldn't rule out something fun just because its cold. In my alone time I like to go to the gym (early in the am, that's when all the old people go and I can kick their asses on the elliptical)..reading...reality TV shows that I wouldn't want anyone else to know I watch.
