Update: As of Monday, September 23...I will be having the first of two foot surgeries. Recovery they say can be up to six months...HELP...I'm going to go stir crazy...can't sit still for that long. Any suggestions for a one legged gimp to do??? LOL. Ok, week one of recovery going well. I have the pain down to a minimum. Bring on those dancing shoes...well at least one of them...Where are the real guys at?? Just looking for HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY...is that asking too much??This is more of a challenge then I thought...but do I love a good challenge. Tending to be a lil more picky the older I get. Not a big fan of winter...but I do survive them. I have raised two grown men the best that I can and they have made me proud, love and take care of my family especially my grandsons. Love spending time with family and friends but looking for someone special to spend some time with.I like taking walks, dancing, comedy, listening to music of all varieties live or not, going to movies or cuddling up at home. Well, I am the type that is up to just about anything or would try anything once. Dancing with the devil by the full moon light or kissing in the rain...I also love to show my guy just how I feel about him, very touchy feely type person. I have a lot of love, honesty, trust and compassion to give the right guy. I love to laugh, a sense of humor is very attractive. Enjoy the little things in life...I am looking to fill a hole in my life and heart...not for someone to take care of me because by now I certainly know how to take care of myself. I can certainly check and change my own oil. Lol. Looking for someone to share all that life has to offer, hold my hand and just enjoy.Put off having my children's books published for too long. One published in a series of seven and counting...new chapter to begin.I am a giver not a taker, a lover not a fighter...and great kisser gets a long way with me.Getting into the health kick...trying to eat healthy and exercise more. Nothing overboard, just trying to be the best me I can be.Feel free to ask me anything, I have nothing to hide. Please not looking for one night stands and distance to me doesn't matter.Lets take a ride on the wild side and see what happens...or any sporting event (whether we are playing or watching) or just sitting and relaxing by a fire.

Hi. I'm a quiet introspective person who enjoys reading, movies, plays and trips to the city. However, I do enjoy hanging out with friends and family, and am not a wallflower. I enjoy flea markets, festivals (especially balloon festivals) and craft shows. I like cooking and baking, especially for the holidays. I live close to the boardwalk, and love both the quiet of early morning walks and the noisy amusement aspect at night (the lights, the smells, the sounds of kids screaming on rides!). I'm all across the map when it comes to both books and music. I love any and all kinds and can't see how people can only listen to one type of music. I'm currently converting all my cds onto my ipod (quite the undertaking). I love reading, writing and talking books (any clue that I was an English major in college?) I even started volunteering as a home bound delivery person through my library, delivering books to house bound individuals. My goals...live a good life, with integrity, honesty, and hopefully with a love like my parents have (over 50 years together). First date would depend on season...Winter - someplace warm and cozy, preferably with a nice roaring fire. Spring - I'll take a benadryl, but after a long, cold winter and I'm ready to go anywhere outside...can be as simple as a trip to a park or the zoo, or a picnic lunch and canoeing. Summer...a stroll on the boardwalk with a couple drinks somewhere looking out at the water. Maybe be impressed by your fine skeeball skills! Then a walk down on the beach. It might start getting chilly and you'll share your sweatshirt. Fall...endless possibilities - Don't get me wrong. I love the romance of fine dining and candlelight, but why not save that till we really know each other. Start small and get to know each other.
