I have spent a lot of time staring at this screen trying to figure out the best way to start this...and decided I cannot be witty and cute when I put too much pressure on myself...so taking a deep breath, relaxing and here it goes... My mom passed away when I was 8 and she and my dad had 6 kids. My dad remarried and she had 4 kids and then they had 2 together. I have 39 nieces and nephews and 10 greats. They all live closer to the west coast and so I only get to see them once a year and some only every other...the only down side to living out here.I have a dog and she is part if my family. I am a dog vs cat person. (Very allergic to cats)I enjoy getting dressed up and going to a play or show in DC one minute... And tailgating at a sporting event the next.Aside from rap and really really heavy metal, I love most kinds of music.I have a good core group of friends whom most I have known for almost 20 years. They would describe me as funny with a hearty laugh, loyal, honest, big heart, great with kids and occasionally says what other people are thinking (not always a good thing, but you always know where you stand haha).I enjoy my life and the people who are in it...I have been single because I wont settle and I am not afraid of being alone. I am looking to meet new people and hopefully somewhere along the way find someone to be a best friend and lover. First date? Well I could go into all sorts of amazing things that would be fun to do, but realistically, it should be coffee or a drink in a public place...

Ideally I think its great to talk first whether on the phone or *** to know each other first and then on the first date you have a little bit of knowledge as to what each others likes are etc. That way the first date can be something you both enjoy. So am game for most ideas. Sometimes its fun to step out of the box and have an unusual first date etc. But the common first date is always nice as well...supper, movie etc.
