I have spent a lot of time staring at this screen trying to figure out the best way to start this...and decided I cannot be witty and cute when I put too much pressure on myself...so taking a deep breath, relaxing and here it goes... I love this area...love that my local news is national news, that 30 minutes in one direction I am in the Nations capital and 30 in the other is wine and horse country.I have never been married and while always wanted children, I don't have any. My mom passed away when I was 8 and she and my dad had 6 kids. My dad remarried and she had 4 kids and then they had 2 together. I have 39 nieces and nephews and 10 greats. They all live closer to the west coast and so I only get to see them once a year and some only every other...the only down side to living out here.I have a dog and she is part if my family. I am a dog vs cat person. (Very allergic to cats)I enjoy getting dressed up and going to a play or show in DC one minute... And tailgating at a sporting event the next.Aside from rap and really really heavy metal, I love most kinds of music.I have a good core group of friends whom most I have known for almost 20 years. They would describe me as funny with a hearty laugh, loyal, honest, big heart, great with kids and occasionally says what other people are thinking (not always a good thing, but you always know where you stand haha).I enjoy my life and the people who are in it...I have been single because I wont settle and I am not afraid of being alone. I am looking to meet new people and hopefully somewhere along the way find someone to be a best friend and lover. First date? Well I could go into all sorts of amazing things that would be fun to do, but realistically, it should be coffee or a drink in a public place...

When the office closed I decided it was time for a change. The TV is usually on, if nothing else for background noise. When I am actively watching it is usually shows like NCIS, Law and Order and anything on Investigation Discovery. I love the law and everything about it and any movie that involves the law or politics is a must see for me.Have always wanted to do things like go camping and hiking but never had the right partner to do it with. I also love going to plays, musicals, and anything that can be performed on stage. Love hanging out by the pool and baking in the sun. I am up for just about anything. I am very organized and like to plan things, but I love it when things happen spontaneously.My closet is always full and I love dressing up and looking nice. If you can't wait for me to get ready then I am not the one for you. That being said, I am always on time and never late unless it is out of my control. If you ask me to be ready by a certain time, I will be ready. I think it is rude to make people wait on you.I consider myself native to the area. Moved back in ***and have been here ever since. I don't watch a lot of sports on TV, but if an ECU game is being televised, the TV is mine. Looking to meet people for friendship and causal dates. Not looking to jump into a relationship, but if a friendship grows into something more it would be fine.. The first date should be something simple and fun without too much pressure. An after work drink is ideal. After that, surprise me!
