About Me

I love the outdoors, and really enjoy hiking. Great exercise and challenge, and some pretty amazing places to see and explore. I also started trying out mountain biking and kayaking this past summer, and really enjoyed both. I like going for drives in the country. I find it peaceful and relaxing. I don't want to live life with regrets, so enjoy trying new things. I think diversity is key to keeping life interesting. I am big into volunteer work and giving back to the community. I enjoy helping others. I also think it's really awesome when someone does something to help someone else, without them knowing that you were the one that did it. Then you know that it was done for the right reasons; not to be seen, but rather true integrity. Though I don't have any right now (I had a dog for 16.5 years, but recently had to put him down), I love animals. I also really like kids, although I don't have any of my own. My favorite book in the Bible is the book of Proverbs. I think it is a great book to live by. So much wisdom. Though I'm not perfect, I try to live my life based on biblical principles. I also believe that it's the little things in life that are the most significant and meaningful. Though there are things that I enjoy doing, when I'm with someone that I care about, it is more about being with that person than just what we are doing. Something interactive so that we can talk and get to know each other while doing it, but yet at the same time it can ease the nervousness of that first meeting
