Hello, here's a little bit about myself. I don't want to tell it all, because if I do then there won't be anything else to talk about. I am a caring, funny, witty person. Some say I am too caring, but I don't think a person can ever care too much. Just caring about the right things is what counts. I am a country lady, saying that, I am saying that I can and do clean up pretty well for a dinner date, but really like my flip flops and shorts in the summer, blue jeans and my boots in the winter. I like harley davidsons ( like to ride ). As far as music goes I listen to about all types, depending my mood. I have 2 boys which are grown and out of the home. I would like to meet a man that is down to earth. I feel like I'm an average lady looking for the man I can be comfortable around. I can talk to about anything. In a relationship, I think communication, honesty, trustworhty, loyality, and just being yourself is what makes the relationship. ago due to diabetes, no, I'm not a diabetic.. I lost amy sisiter 10 months ago due to cancer... no, I don't have cancer.. Just lost my other brother 1 month ago, due to acute chronic pancreatis. It's been difficult, considering we had a close family. We all were always there for one another. I am the youngest and now I am the only. I don't know how my Mother has dealt with the losses as well as she has. She is the strongest person I know. Going through all of this, it has changed who I am and what I want in life. It's changed me for the better, not that I was a bad person from the beginning, but the aspect of having my family to not having a family, I want to be happy in life. I put my life on hold when we found out that my sister had cancer so that I could focus on trying to get her well. I understand, that maybe I shouldn't have done that, but I did and don't regret any of it. So, now I'm trying to rebuild my life with someone that can understand me. First meet, hmmmm, well I think the first meet should be someplace where we can communicate. I think communication is the key part in getting to know someone.     I have no idea what to say I'm looking for, hoping I'll know when I find it. I could go on and on about what my "ideal guy" would be, but would that truly be realistic? No, I think not. It may be easier to list what I don't want, but I'm going to try and put in a few words what it is I'm hoping to find...I'm looking for someone who is happy with their life, someone who likes a bit of adventure, and someone who puts a huge smile on my face. I want to be able to look at you (or think about you) and feel admiration and excitement.I'm a pretty simple person who likes to keep it real for the most part...I believe it's the little things in life that matter most...although I do love surprises :)) I don't get out and explore as much as I'd like, but how awesome would it be to share the beauty of our province or this world "with" someone?     I love the outdoors, and really enjoy hiking. Great exercise and challenge, and some pretty amazing places to see and explore. I also started trying out mountain biking and kayaking this past summer, and really enjoyed both. I like going for drives in the country. I find it peaceful and relaxing. I don't want to live life with regrets, so enjoy trying new things. I think diversity is key to keeping life interesting. I am big into volunteer work and giving back to the community. I enjoy helping others. I also think it's really awesome when someone does something to help someone else, without them knowing that you were the one that did it. Then you know that it was done for the right reasons; not to be seen, but rather true integrity. Though I don't have any right now (I had a dog for 16.5 years, but recently had to put him down), I love animals. I also really like kids, although I don't have any of my own. My favorite book in the Bible is the book of Proverbs. I think it is a great book to live by. So much wisdom. Though I'm not perfect, I try to live my life based on biblical principles. I also believe that it's the little things in life that are the most significant and meaningful. Though there are things that I enjoy doing, when I'm with someone that I care about, it is more about being with that person than just what we are doing. Something interactive so that we can talk and get to know each other while doing it, but yet at the same time it can ease the nervousness of that first meeting
