About Me

I'm generally a happy person and feel very grateful for all the blessings in my life, but still looking for the blessing of a good man...I try to appreciate or at least learn from everything life serves up (the bad as well as the good). I am interested in many things, including all sorts of music, yoga, good wine & food, sailing, hiking, reading, museums, beaches, traveling, discussing philosophy/spirituality and I'm always open to new experiences. I have, and appreciate in others, a good sense of humor, an out-of-the-box way of thinking, the ability to have an interesting conversation, a strong sense of integrity and honesty, a certain amount of annoyance with superficiality and people who don't think for themselves. I'm looking for a solid partnership - someone who'll support my growth as a person and let me support theirs. I have a tendency to think too much, so someone who's occasionally silly is probably good for me. Fun is important, as is lots of passion and physical chemistry.I tend to be most attracted to men who are intelligent, confident and well spoken. My ideal match should be similar enough to me so that we can communicate but not so similar that there's no 'fire.' I like a little bit of sparring every now and then, a little bit of wickedness. At the same time, (cliche alert!) we should be able to sit back by the fire on an autumn day and read the Times together pleasantly, too. It's really a matter of balance. Someone who likes to sail would be great. I prefer guys who aren't of small build (and no I'm not referring to THAT), I just like a guy that I feel like a little woman next to, somebody huggable and with whom I can roughhouse every now and then. No atheists/agnostics, please. A first date should be somewhere we can talk (without having to shout) and get to know each other a bit.

    I am the girl next door..Communication is essential for any relationship to be successful. Not only can I talk...but I also listen! We all, have a "type" of person we are attracted to. Newest to the list...I assembled a full bedroom set bought from IKEA for my 12 year old daughter, that's about a thousand pieces with only pictures..no words for directions!(Sarcasm ahead...)I also feel compelled to tell you that I do enjoy walks on the beach, sunsets, puppies, kittens, flowers and notes just randomly left for no reason....seems no profile is complete without this vital info. (end sarcasm) Another thing I wanted to add as it seems just about all of then men here are looking for the "one" that can go from the flirty black dress to the flip flops and jeans....I havegot that covered!What makes me someone you would want to get to know? I am a very loyal friend, I am candid and have no issues with expressing how I feel and am forever optimistic and according to my Father I was the best daughter...EVER!Couple of things....I am very proud of how I survived the economic crash of 06 so...if you are one of the many that have decided it was the cool thing to do and stop paying for your mortgage just because everyone else was doing it...we won't be a match....I am very responsible and have zero respect for system suckers or people trying to walk away from their obligations. In a nutshell, I have my act together...if this intimidates you...I am not the gal for you.I love to laugh....not just a chuckle....belly laugh until you can't breathe..that does a body and spirit good!I love to go to concerts, festivals, street fairs, museums, shows, movies, sporting events. I am a huge people watcher.     I'm going through a divorce so i am starting all over again. enjoy reading ,fishing, and just about anything outdoors... but I have a3 year old so that means that I don't do a lot of those things right now... I like being with people that can make melaugh..laughter cures so much! Okay its shame I have to say anything.... please don't message me or talk nasty to me... I don't know you like that! I'm really shocked at how some people can say such things to people they don't even know..... so if you're one of those guys don't waste my time or yours ... they're plenty of other ladies that will engage. Well I'm not going to get on here and say the usual with your long walks on the beach your candle light dinners or any of that stuff.... the place or the activity does not matter ...it depends on the person you're with and what a good time oe conversation you're having with them.
