About Me

This is all new to me as my friends talked me into it...so here goes. I am a mom of two great kids (ages 9 and 14). They are my world and come before anything else. I am looking for a companion for myself to hang out, date, have fun. I enjoy spending time watching my kids activities (baseball, softball, gymnastics, marching band, theater). I love to be out on the boat - riding, fishing, scalloping, swimming, kayaking. I don't care much for the beach as I sunburn easily and don't see the point in sitting out to bake myself.I love to cook and bake, especially if I have someone to share that with. I have a passion for the theater and have been involved acting and singing in local community theater for almost 10 years now. My family is very important to me and when we get together we like to play board games and tend to be competitive about it. lol I don't usually watch tv, but enjoy being at home and watching movies. I am not very good at sports, but will try and have fun making a fool of myself.I consider myself pretty average, but have been told that I am intelligent, creative, passionate and giving. I am independent and am not looking for someone to take care of me; I am handling that pretty well on my own. I dress for comfort, not to impress (but I don't go out looking like a slob either). I do not wear makeup (except on stage). I would do anything for my friends. Honesty is extremely important to me.

    I like to stay active and run 5 or 6 days a week. (I have to exercise early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing)I enjoy jazz clubs and restaurants with great ambiance..not local.
