Hi. I'm an independent working mom with a career I enjoy. My children are my heart though they don't live with me now but I see them regularly. Recently widowed, I really long to be in a committed long term relationship though I'm not wanting to rush/settle and am happy to make new friends along the way. I am optimistic to start over and find someone who has the same values and character. I have a lot to offer a partner emotionally and am a loyal and honest friend who knows how to stand by the man I love. I'm crazy for anything having to do with water: Beach, the lake, sailing. I really enjoy time alone with a partner and personal time as well as family time. I like nightlife but I also like just grilling out and listening to music for a night at home. Weekend getaways (just the two of us) are always fun. I love to dance. Music is my soul and I like a lot of genres from Alternative to Hip Hop but have certanin favs: Theory of a Dead Man, Sick Puppies, Shinedown, T-..like just about everything but country music (love some Reggae too ;). Something a little unique might be that I'm a girly girl but love adventure and always ready to try something new and spontaneous. I love to play dress up and go to a little black dress party but don't mind hanging out in hole in the wall local spot in a tee shirt and jeans :-) For a first date (talking if it were ideal here) we might meet at an outdoor bistro with live music, get to know each other over drinks and maybe sushi, then maybe take a waterfront stroll depending on the setting or go dancing, depending on what our collective mood was to do one or the other.

I love working out thats a blast I havent done it in awhile but with gas prices and living so far away I have to just walk and hike and do my Yoga DVD.I put on some weight this winter working on getting a new pic up for ya I'm up a size it sucks how hard it is to get it back off lol but I have never been skinny, if ya want skinny Im not your girl another thing Ive learned ..first date start out for a coffee if things are going good it might go longer we shall see!!!!
