First of all, for the record, I want to meet people within 30 minutes from me. Traveling across town for a date or future relationship isn't what I'm looking for. However, if you can see yourself coming to my area several times a week, then maybe?!? I'm pretty easy going, fun-loving, happy and affectionate. I BELIEVE life should be fun, peaceful, happy, splashed with adventure and that's how I like to live it. If anything, you can count on me for that much. A little about me... I spent a few years as a firefighter (yes, I said firefighter), served in the US Navy, spent over a decade in the airline industry, and have now finally settled on being a Registered Nurse. I miss the excitement of being a firefighter and the fun of the frequent travel, but I'm passionate about being a nurse and I have a pretty sweet gig right now so life is good! If nothing else making new friends is always good.What I'm looking for? At the core of it all, I want someone who invokes that rare combination of "want you now" passion and peaceful, comfortable friendship, someone I really connect with, anything less would just be average. Friendship is essential to every relationship, but fun, passion and spontaneity keep it alive and exciting. With that being said, I'm perfectly fine with casual, fun and friendly as I SLOWLY get to know someone.In my experience, the “who” of an adventure is more important than the “what” is. I am looking for someone I can share the adventure of life with – everything from the exhilarating get-away, adventurous outdoor activities and nights out on the town to the everyday things like simple walks around the block, back yard bbq's, sitting around the pool or making dinners at home together, and curling up in front of a good movie or fire. I believe EVERYTHING can be fun with the right person and right attitude! ;-)What I like... I absolutely love to travel (near and far). I also enjoy learning new things, good conversation, home décor and gardening. I also enjoy cooking and entertaining...even if it is just my family or a few friends. I love walks through the park, on a boardwalk, along the beach, through the city, or just about anywhere -- even in the rain, as long as you kiss me. I love a good challenge and am kind of an adrenaline junkie at times. I also enjoy festivals, amusement parks, cultural events, the theater, museums, and other special events. I really LOVE live music & dancing. Being outdoors or on the ocean is always relaxing for me. Going to local baseball, hockey or football games is also a lot of fun! I am however a Bama Rolltide girl! Playing sports when given the opportunity is tons of fun too. Silly or serious, formal or casual, 5-star or playing in the mud.... it all has its perks! ;) If you are up for the challenge, think we would connect and you have what I am looking for, send me an ***!
