A great night to me would be relaxing with a glass of wine, sitting out on the patio or in front of the fire and enjoying the company of that special person in my life. I love to spend quality time with those around me. I don't watch much TV. and I am definitely not into the "couch potato scene." I also enjoy doing family stuff, going out for a date night or having a friend or a few over for a casual get together. I am close to my family, I have great friends and a stable career. I like doing girly things, but I also don't mind getting in the mud once in a while. I love to learn and grow as a person and I spend time in efforts to improve myself and my life. I am affectionate and have a big heart. I love kids and animals. I am a positive person and surround myself with positive people. I tend to expect and look for the good in people. I don't take myself too seriously and I like to have fun! I can be a real goofball at times and I love being with people I can totally be myself around. I picture my guy as someone I will admire because of the way he treats his family, friends and strangers. If he has kids, he is a good Dad and spends as much time as he can with them. He would consider himself "old school." He is comfortable in a formal setting, but doesn't use words like "delightful." I will adore him because he isnt afraid to admit his own shortcomings, will sit on the same side of the booth, puts the toilet seat down and he only has eyes for me. When I am with him I want to feel like we are the only two people on earth, laugh so hard my cheeks hurt and can't wait to see him again. I want to know that he is proud of me and always sees the good in me even when I am not at my best.Oh and extra points if you can cook and fix stuff :)

Life is a gift. It will always be my desire to love and be loved. Like most singles , the time moved from being admired by those I had no affection for, to pursuing with great earnest who I wanted - only to find that in the end it wasn't the match/compatibility that was good for both of us. I'm sure we've all been there. How it hurts at the time... but is remembered as a beautiful part of life learning years later. Looking for someone to share the rest of my days and nights with. Work full time day shift for the last 24 yrs in a chronic care nursing home.Adore my 2 teen boys 19 & 17, Love the elderly, and my co-workers which have become like family to me. I'm a well put together type person, avoid conflict, a very peaceful soul. My Core Motivation that guides me through life is "Peace." This is not referring to a political agenda or the absence of war. It is, however, an absence of inner conflict, much closer to the idea of serenity, and an acceptance of oneself and others. I have a strong and compelling need to keep things in balance in my life so as to maintain an internal feeling of tranquility and comfort. With this said though, I'm not a perfectionist, i am laid back, neat and tidy, but not uptight. I'm not happy around uptight people. People who stress over the smallest things...No thanks...life is too short....enjoy each moment! Make good memories! I am a loyal and honest person who appreciates the same in my partner. If you respect me and treat me with compassion, then I will always do the same for you. I'm looking for someone who would enjoy being around his woman, spending quiet times and enjoy what life has to offer. ****** Jokes to brighten your day! **** My silly side.....1, Man: Your place or mine?Woman: Both. You go to yours and I'll go to mine. 2, A husband and wife are trying to set up a new password for their computer. The husband puts, "Mypenis," and the wife falls on the ground laughing because on the screen it says, "Error. Not long enough." Ha! 3, What did one saggy boob say to the other saggy boob? "We better get some support before someone thinks we're nuts!" :) 4, A blonde, a redhead, and a brunette were all lost in the desert. They found a lamp and rubbed it. A genie popped out and granted them each one wish. The redhead wished to be back home. Poof! She was back home. The brunette wished to be at home with her family. Poof! She was back home with her family. The blonde said, "Awwww, I wish my friends were here." ( my mushy side) My attitude: Feast on Life! Know yourself, and enjoy who you are. The time will comewhen, with elation, you will greet yourself arrivingat your own door, in your own mirrorand each will smile at the other's welcome, and say, sit here. Eat.You will love again the stranger who was your self.Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heartto itself, to the stranger who has loved youall your life, whom you ***, who knows you by heart.Take down the love letters from the bookshelf, the photographs, the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.Sit. Feast on your life. There are so many reasons his poem is so moving: the idea of nurturing (instead of denying) yourself with food and drink, the idea of re-meeting who you were (and who you still are) despite all the years of disconnection due to ego and its insidious double, insecurity. Most of all I love this idea of feasting on your life, from the wonderful moments (the love letter) to the revealing moments (the photographs) to the painful moments (the desperate notes). Let's all feast today, even if that feast takes place while we're buying coffee filters or "making" a premade rotisserie chicken for dinner. Reflection happens everywhere—even in the aisle of the supermarket. When your ready come and get it.......:) . Something casual, just a coffee , keep it simple. Love to go out to see a movie, hang out with friends and family. A nice evening out for dinner would be nice.
