I’m a fairly easy going, romantic who is looking to have some fun. I’m a firm believer in living life to the fullest and cherish every moment on this big blue planet of ours. Life’s too short not to enjoy every minute whether it is good, bad, sweet or naughty. ;-) I have lots of interests, including music, (rock, jazz, pop, blues, some country, etc.) arts, theatre, traveling, and much more. Fair is Fair….I only reply to those that have a photo.After being on here for a couple of weeks now and receiving lots of notes (and I thank you all for sending them), I feel the need to post a short update. While I'm sure this will sound a little vain and slightly *b***y, I want to be perfectly clear on what I'm looking for (sorry to be so blunt, but that's just me and how I roll..if you don't like it, thank you for reading and pass me by).Gentlemen....what is it with the sun glasses in the photos, or even photos that are 30 feet away...When you post a picture of yourself that is 30 feet away and your a tiny speck or only post a picture of yourself with sun glasses on, it makes me think that your hiding something and not wanting to show your true self. After all "Eyes are the Windows of the Soul". I would prefer to see pictures of you doing something fun with your friends and family, and a couple of close ups of your face, rather than a self portrait that is blurry, out of focus and could possibly be 10 year old picture (admit it, some of these blurry images are scans of old pictures of you 30 pounds lighter and 15 years younger) LOL! I will admit that there are some women on this site that are guilty of posting the same kind of pictures. Just to be clear, all of my pictures are current. :-)If I had to pick a "type" I tend to be drawn to the creative, artistic, adventurous, rock n roll bad boy with a passionate and soft heart. Not into sports (although I do like watching an occasional Titan's game). NASCAR and NHRA fans just need to pass me by. I love movies, love live theatre and music. I hope you enjoyed your swim around the pond and liked my profile. Some place casual with good food (I love sushi)that's got a great atmosphere, but not too loud, so we can just hang out and get to know each other.

    A romantic at heart and a scientist by training, I'm considerate, flexible and pragmatic. My interests include literature (I'm an avid reader, especially of English authors and the classics), music, the culinary arts, science and languages. Tropical beaches are a favorite place for me. It would be great if I could meet someone whose personality is compatible with mine, who is optimistic and enjoys life. The person I am looking for should be flexible and not too rigid in their thinking (but please note that I am myself also very flexible and willing to make compromises). Chemistry is an absolutely crucial factor, and it could convince me to waive some (or many!) of my other criteria. Imagination and creativity would be a great plus in your favor, and it would be particularly nice if you are fond of literature. I would like to have a casual conversation on the first date - it would be nice if we could meet for a meal.
