Hola!Here's me in a nutshell; Funny, bright (usually!), from a big family, loves kids, Irish, never married (just haven't met the right guy yet, I guess?), work-aholic, but trying to improve. Let's face it, we all have some "baggage" in our lives no matter where we come from, what relationships we've had, etc., etc., etc.. I think the challenge is to not let that baggage get in the way of meeting new people & maybe making new friends or more along the way. I'm a work-in-progress, myself. I am a lapsed Catholic, but am Christian and fairly spiritual. Finding the same thing in another is important to me - not necessarily the Catholic part, but the rest of it. I'm reasonably smart (I hope, anyway), though constantly have to work at keeping up with local & national politics, which I don't care much about. Well thank you for taking a look. I guess I can make this pretty short and sweet. Would like to meet someone who is just your average joe who enjoys simple things in life. I am not a fancy nor materialistic person. It seems the older we get the harder dating becomes.I think we all are settled in our ways but hoping to meet someone who would like a bit of change. I have a goofy sense of humor and people ask me why I always smile. I tell them you need to look at the positive and enjoy what you have now. It's pretty simple and when you smile it makes other people smile back and hopefully brighten there day. I like to keep things casual and relaxed " if thats possible when you first meet someone". I guess maybe meet for a drink and get to know each other.
