Kids are out of the house and I am so proud of who they are and am excited about who they will become. Where has the time gone? And now I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life and all the adventures that lie ahead. Let me tell you, it gives you a unrealistic view of the real world. Eveything is ***and I had a hard time believing that stores and resturants actually closed!! Loved it!! It really gives you a different perspective of what's really important. I love to travel and have seen some beautiful places. But when I go, I usually don't like to have an agenda, just see what the day brings. There is nothing better then finding the hidden treasures that the locals know.I love chiefs football, my volunteer work with habitat, photography, reading, concerts in the park and graveyards. I know the last one is a bit weird, but I am fascinated by the past and like to imagine who that person was and what their life was like. What I'm looking for in a partner is someone who is adventerous and likes to try new things. He must be responsible and dependable, but also have a playful nature. Humor, compassion, and strong family values are very important to me. I'm looking for my best friend. I believe everything in this life happens for a reason and the choices you make today are a reflection of those experiences. I don't want someone who is still living in the past but wants to make the most of their future. There is so much the future holds and there's nothing better than sharing it with someone. Could it be you? A quite setting where we can get to know each other.

Hey, I'm really not that good when it comes to talking about myself. I guess the only way to get to know me is to either message me or hang out with me. Like my profile stated, I'm 5'1, short black hair green eyes. You can find me on face book -*****UPDATE**** Lemme **** a minute- PLEASE DO NOT message me asking if I like younger men ok. Yes almost all of the guys I talk to are "younger" but its a matter of maturity more than age. IF you are not confident in your maturity as a man- regardless of your age and feel you need to ask a woman if she "INTO" younger guys then I would say your not ready to be "INTO' a woman older than you. Real men dont question the age factor. They have enough confidence within themselves to just go for it. ** It AMAZES me on the number of guys on here that let the age of someone affect their choices. Is it because your scared of what people may say? Sad...I quit judging others on looks or age years ago. If you do something as superficial as that then you never really know what you may be missing out on. I've been asked if I'm a dominatrix or a witch lol!! AM I REALLY THAT SCARY LOOKING????????? I am neither. In fact I'm totally opposite. I'm someone who can cook anything-its a hobby. My culinary skills are off the chain!! I'm shy til you get to know me and I definitely don't strap on the leather gear and carry around whips and chains lol! As far as witchcraft goes-cmon REALLY!!! Although I do know quite a few people I would love to put a spell on or do some VooDoo!!! Cmon guys-quit being so judgemental- I thought only women did that sh*t!!! ***Also...if you message me and make it painfully obvious that you are looking for a "friends only" relationship ..then please don't get annoyed when I put you in the "FRIEND ZONE" okay! Thats the impression you gave me and the vibes you put out. Up to you to change that situation-not on me..I have alot of friends and adding you to the list is just an option. Please don't assume I'm a B*tch- I'm just keeping things real. A first date doesn't have to be some monumental feat- just be yourself and lets get to know each other. Whether that is in a fancy restaurant..sitting under the nite sky or baggin it at Mcdonalds-its the company thats important to me more than anything.

Hola! Here's me in a nutshell; Funny, bright (usually!), from a big family, loves kids, Irish, never married (just haven't met the right guy yet, I guess?), work-aholic, but trying to improve. Looking to meet down-to-earth good guy who lives in the Twin Cities area (that's Twin Cities, guys). Profiles with pictures ONLY...fair is fair, right?? No picture, no fair &...sorry :(The internet dating thing is like shooting fish in a barrel...anyone who tells you differently is wrong....wouldn't you agree? It's like trying to find that job that "fits" or the right car, house, etc. only much more complex. Let's face it, we all have some "baggage" in our lives no matter where we come from, what relationships we've had, etc., etc., etc.. I think the challenge is to not let that baggage get in the way of meeting new people & maybe making new friends or more along the way. I'm a work-in-progress, myself. I am a lapsed Catholic, but am Christian and fairly spiritual. Finding the same thing in another is important to me - not necessarily the Catholic part, but the rest of it. I'm reasonably smart (I hope, anyway), though constantly have to work at keeping up with local & national politics, which I don't care much about. I am a Liberal - this will probably not change, so I want to put that out there from the get-go...LOL!I'm currently working on smart-ass, yet clever, answers to the question I get ALL the time...."WHY are you still single????" Or better yet, "Why haven't you ever married??". I'm hoping to make a top-ten list, so any good ones you have are most welcome!! Let me know if you'd like to chat further! Betty's Mom First meeting date or first DATE date? First meeting is the requisite coffee/drink meeting and then we see if we want to meet again, if that's cool with you?
