I am 48, smart, educated (the previous two are not necessarily the same thing in my experience ;-) curious, healthy and into travel, walking, good conversation, cooking and baking, good movies, and my family.; like art and design and good cinematography. I have been around the world a few times and I know who and what I am... I would like to meet someone who is similar in that regard.I am a very positive, upbeat, and optimistic person and have a difficult time with people who are perennially cranky or whiny. Life's too short!. I read a lot; I enjoy interesting ideas and and interesting, articulate people. I am very committed to health and fitness, though I am not a gym-head or hard-body type nor ever will be and don't tend to be very attracted to men who are more interested in their physique than their minds.I have an 11-year-old at home of whom I have sole physical custody, though her dad does get visitation. If you are in a similar situation, you're more likely to understand the rewards and limitations a situation like this places on you, though if you're open-minded and patient, so will I be. I'm a little sarcastic but very kind in general .. though I'm a little on the shy side, I tend to get along very well with others and have a few close friends. I am not attracted to barflies, selfish, lazy, mean, or clingy people. A walk where we have an opportunity to talk and get to know one another, or dinner in a quiet place with a bit of privacy.

    Hello... Ok, here's the good stuff - I'm Fun, kind and a bit sassy yet polite (oxymoron?). Self deprecating humor - ahh did I just say I laugh at myself? sometimes I get a little feisty and may laugh at you! I'd rather be outdoors participating in life and activities vs TV sports. My downtime is tv and reading. Superficial intimacy is not my thing but with the right person I'm warm and affectionate.     Hello..I don't know why this is sooo hard! Maybe it's this site maybe it's me but I really don't understand why it has to be a game. I've had enough drama in the past so I'm looking for a serious no drama, no games guy. Are there any of y'all left? I have a lot of life and love in my heart and would like to have someone to share that with.I have already listed some of my interest and all my stats so i'm not gonna repeat all that, but i do need to state a few things. First i am not looking for one night stands or quickie hook ups, so please do not message me if that is what you want. Second and i'm NOT trying to offend or hurt anyone's feelings, but i'm a young at heart 46 yr old so i'm not looking for a man over 50. Ok, so if you are still reading this i want to say that i'm a very fun, compassionate, caring, honest, trusting (which is not always a good thing :***loving woman that hopes to find a man with the same qualities and mind set :-) Good luck to us all that we may find that special someone and not be alone b/c life is too short to not be able to share it with someone! Well there are lots of options, meet for coffee, take a walk, maybe go bowling..lol..2 things not good for first meets - movie or bars. I didn't say anything earlier about drinking, but i am not much of one and prefer not to deal with or babysit intoxicated ppl.
