This may be a little too ambitious an expectation for online..... I have always wanted to live there and now I have the chance! I realize I am a little far out for most so am willing to do the driving until I move. About me...where to start? I am very grounded and down to earth.....superficial would never be a word used to describe me! I am very loyal and painfully honest and appreciate the same in others. I am in to trying anything once and have an adventurous spirit (maybe not skydiving ;) I love being active and out doors and even though you may not be able to see it through the makeup and heels...I am a tomboy at heart. I would much rather go to the batting cages or throw a football around than go shopping! I am a guys girl....meaning, I like guys and guy stuff better but I am religious with the hair and nail appointments. I love to learn and have a 5 year old's curiosity.....so I love books. I am not an intellectual snob however and appreciate street smarts as much as book smarts :) Now for the disclaimers! This is intended to be tongue in cheek so take it with a grain of salt. You can't imagine some of the guys on this site...or maybe you can since you have probably experienced some of the same things with the women :) We are not a match if: 1. You like to argue, yell and fight (We are adults...discussion works better if everyone is respectful) 5. You are not affectionate or PDA's bother you (I am very affectionate) 6. You are self absorbed- It's always been about you, you have always done what you wanted, when you wanted, how you wanted 10. You are not ready for a relationship 11. I guess I am known for my sarcasm and stupid humor. I seem to have one of those minds that doles out come-backs and lame puns. I can't help it. I think I was born with it. My friends know that when they see that look of concentration on my face that I am about to bust out with something that I think is witty. They don't always agree, but they can't help laughing at the fact that I crack myself up. Maybe that's where the cheesy jokes come from. I really try to 'milk' it! I am one of those 'glass is half full' kind of people---especially if it is full of good vodka, tequila or wine! I think a sense of humor is really appealing. I try to stay pretty active and I love outdoor activities of all kinds.---once--not because I ever envisioned a future as a competitive distance runner, but rather so I could eat as much ice cream and Mexican food as I wanted and not gain weight! Having run 26. I have moved onto other ones such as trying to listen to a rap song without changing the station (I am sorry, but Rap isn't music! I have worked in the concert industry and sports marketing as well as in nonprofit management special event production. I believe that a job is more than just a paycheck. (although the life of leisure would be just fine with me as well) I absolutely LOVE going to concerts. If I could go to a concert or music festival every week, I would be content. It would be great to have someone to share my hiking adventures, a concert or a drink with occasionally. A glass of wine of course!
