I guess I am known for my sarcasm and stupid humor. I seem to have one of those minds that doles out come-backs and lame puns. I can't help it. I think I was born with it. My friends know that when they see that look of concentration on my face that I am about to bust out with something that I think is witty. They don't always agree, but they can't help laughing at the fact that I crack myself up. Maybe that's where the cheesy jokes come from. I really try to 'milk' it! I am one of those 'glass is half full' kind of people---especially if it is full of good vodka, tequila or wine! I think a sense of humor is really appealing. I try to stay pretty active and I love outdoor activities of all kinds.---once--not because I ever envisioned a future as a competitive distance runner, but rather so I could eat as much ice cream and Mexican food as I wanted and not gain weight! Having run 26. I have moved onto other ones such as trying to listen to a rap song without changing the station (I am sorry, but Rap isn't music! I have worked in the concert industry and sports marketing as well as in nonprofit management special event production. I believe that a job is more than just a paycheck. (although the life of leisure would be just fine with me as well) I absolutely LOVE going to concerts. If I could go to a concert or music festival every week, I would be content. It would be great to have someone to share my hiking adventures, a concert or a drink with occasionally. A glass of wine of course!

I love live music whether it be classic rock, metal, grunge, country and alt country, Celtic, there just is not much I cannot embrace. What makes me unique? IDK, I am spiritual but not religious. I am older and slower than I used to be. I've worked hard all of my life and I cherish those that I love! I am cautious and private for the most part and choose my people very carefully. I was married 11 years and I have three grown children, the youngest of whom will continue to live with me until she receives her credential. I am liberal in my convictions and doubt very seriously I could consider the conservative choice in a mate, who am I kidding it will never work gentlemen! I prefer a tall man because I'm 5' 8" and full figured therefore a man of larger stature enables me to feel dainty although I did have a boyfriend once who was 5' ***" and we are still on good terms to this day. I hope to find a laid back happy man who can love me unconditionally. A man who shares my political views and who will not impose his religion upon me because I have no use for it. I enjoy simple pleasures and I consider myself to be very low drama, I have no desire for emotional upheaval. It has been five years since I have considered attempting love again and still have not quite convinced myself I am ready but I hope to be when the right man comes along. I am not a gold digger and I much prefer blue jeans over stiletto's. I am plain and simple and unpretentious and I sincerely hope I will find my soul mate once our planets have aligned! Meeting a person for the first time should be a natural experience so a comfortable setting, like maybe meeting for a breakfast and simple conversation over coffee is nice or maybe meeting for a drink after work to see how it all goes. If it all goes well the sky is the limit, if not we can part company as friends.
