Hello! What can I say about myself? I'm a Christian who prefers the same. Just makes things easier if we're both playing by the same rules. I'm originally from NY but have been in AZ my entire adult life..... though I don't think I realized that at the time. I'm a registered nurse with a good job that I enjoy....most of the time. It's challenging for sure, but it's also very rewarding! I'm half Italian & half Irish, it was a lot like growing up with Lucy & Ricki! 12 years of Catholic grade & H.S. Mom & Dad are still happily married & very much in love...it's been a hard act to follow. My children are independent adults ... quite liberating. I love God & all the cool things He created! Bit of a science nerd, just fascinated by all the new discoveries! I love to learn, & to teach...I'm told I'm really great with children, I love them & they know sincerity. I thank God I've lived to see this day of the internet with its exponential explosion of shared knowledge. To be able to get on line & google earth our whole planet, or moon, or solar system, or galaxy...& beyond... is inexplicable! Every other generation that walked the planet could only look up & wonder, or spend a lifetime unlocking small clues ....when we have students not even out of college yet who get on SoHo in real time & find previously unknown asteroids & comets....it's fantastic! (& at times can make my brain hurt trying to comprehend) And that's just overhead!,...then there's genetics! I love to learn .......about the real world that is, science, history, current events. Or the housewives of any place. I miss being in love.... having someone I'm connected to all the time on our own private level. I've learned a lot from the past but don't live there. Hoping to find someone kind & interesting who is confident enough to still be charming! I have a lot of energy so I do work out, always have, it's part of my life. But that doesn't mean I care if you do. I'm more interested in your personality & emotional availability. Would love to find someone who has learned as I have that we can't change any one except our self. Therefore, I am prepared to accept your weird with your good if you will do the same. I must warn of my reluctance to travel out of my comfort zone. Seriously, I get stressed trying to find new places & there's nothing fun about getting lost. I am a natural blonde so maybe that explains it. Anyway, I realize it's not the good ol' days where the lady gets picked up for a date....but I'm still going to expect the gentleman to come to my neck of the woods, for a first date. Down the road if things work out...:) I'm sure I can teach my car one more familiar route....to your house. climb the Himalaya....lol....idk...anything but starbucks. great for drive thru but to sit & talk? Awkward.

I am 47 yrs. young :) raising my grandson. I have 3 grown children my oldest has 4 very beautiful children. My son god rest his soul passed away at 19 and my youngest well she is a bit of a pill still. I have 3 dogs 1) akita and he is 5yrs , ***wolf and ***akita and she is 7 yrs. and 1) yorkie who is boss lol and he is 10yrs . I have 3 cats who are all rescues ages approx. 12,12,5. I have not dated much in my life I have had 3 wonderful relationships in their own ways. I had my first love and spent 5 yrs. with him, I was married to a great man for 11 years until drugs became a part of his life, and then my love of 13 years until he passed away. So if you do the math not a lot of alone time to date. I like country music oldies and classic rock and roll. I love the outdoors I love to take out my RV and hang out and enjoy nature's beauty. I also am very happy just hanging out with friends and family and BBQ ( I can make a great steak on the grill) and watching the kids play, watching a good movie and snuggling with that someone special.I am a mom first I have taken on the responsibility of raising my grandson who will be 2 in Oct so I have 16 more years (as we no more or less) so f this does not fit into your plans in life we wish you good luck and thank you for taking the time to read my profile we are a package deal if this is not an issue for you please read on and I hope to hear from you.I am very loyal to my partner I do not lie and do not play games and want the same in return. Down to earth with a good sense of humor. I enjoy life most of the time, taking the good with the not so good. It is what we make it, right? I am a Christian woman and I love the Lord!
