Why is it you can think of things to put down at 3am and then when it comes time to actually write/type it out you draw a complete blank?? Well, I'm actually pretty simple. I don't like drama, don't have time for it either. (I'm Desert Storm era Vet), I've found honesty is the best policy, regardless of what type of relationship your looking for the effort needs to be put forth by both people. I'm somewhat technologically challenged. Communication, trust, honesty and loyalty are very important to me. You need a strong foundation just as a house does before it becomes a home. My family and friends would/will tell you that I'm all of those things (almost to a fault), love to help others in need and make people smile, laugh, have fun, yet be appropriate when the situation warrants to be more serious.I volunteer at the local VA, and quite active in a few other charities. I enjoy cooking, will admit not a grill master, so have at it! I'll do the dishes.Going out is nice too, so is getting a pizza and sitting on the patio, or a improtu picnic. I like to watch most sports both college and pro and will gladly flop on the couch with you or hang out at friends, bar/resturant, attending the event if possible is always good too! I'll cheer for your team if you will support mine (go Bills!), unless they're playing against eachother. (loser has to give the winner a backrub.. sound good?)I like kids (I'm one of 76 grandchildren) I've been known to give someone the shirt off my back.. (ask me) I like tennis but haven't played in a very long time, so I would need a refresher course. I can play putt-putt golf not very well, don't understand golf as whole, but willing to learn. Enjoy bowling, playing cards, and some board games. I'm not good at the newer video games,need practice and to be introduced to them (see above comment about technologically challenged). I'm cuddler/snuggle bug whichever you prefer to call it. I like to hold hands be stting on the couch or walking around somewhere. Something I feel that is pretty sexy is wearing one of my mans shirts, especially if it smells like you. I'm as comfortable dressing up as I am in being in jeans and a t-shirt. I like all the basic/simple things of being romanced, hugged and kissed, a single rose and a passionate kiss can almost say as much as a dozen roses can. Part of being a lady is knowing when to be one and then again knowing when it's alright not to be so much of one.I like to go for walks, window shopping, people watch, go to or rent movies, listening to the rain, visiting friends and family either in town or take a trip. I also like to take naps, read, talk, watch tv, stargaze, go on picnic, jump in the car/truck with no plan and see where it takes us.Having a lazy day at home works too.Lounging around just talking about life, family, thinking of ways to solve the worlds problems, just lying/being together and not having to say anything all. If you'd like to know anything else let me know.....Good luck in your search! I like to keep it simple. Go to a hole in the wall restaurant where we can talk and get to know eachother. If we hit it off, we can go listen to live music somewhere.

    So, I've done this before but it's been a little while. Just kinda took a break from the online thing : ) I am so happy and very fortunate in my life ~ I have 2 amazing (grown) kids, a beautiful home that I have lots of fun improving (thanks HGTV and DIY Network), a fantastic job that I'm so thankful for, but obviously I'm here on meetville for a reason though. I blame being single on the fact that I have a pretty small circle of friends and family that I hang out with and I'm pretty shy at first... for like 5 minutes. I'd like to meet someone who has confidence and loves to laugh. Someone who takes care of themselves and likes to challenge themselves. Most of my days consist of family, going to the gym, riding my horse, doing stuff around the house, and getting together with friends. I work a few days a week, actually at night though. I suppose that's kind of the basics about me but if you're interested in knowing more then just ask. First date or first meeting? I think we'd have to figure out some common interests over the phone and then get together and see if there's any attraction. I should probably disclose that I don't drink coffee but Starbucks seems to be a very poplular place to meetup which is funny probably for the employees to observe. I can find something on any menu and I'm very happy with green tea frappacinos : )

    Hello! What can I say about myself? I'm a Christian who prefers the same. Just makes things easier if we're both playing by the same rules. I'm originally from NY but have been in AZ my entire adult life..... though I don't think I realized that at the time. I'm a registered nurse with a good job that I enjoy....most of the time. It's challenging for sure, but it's also very rewarding! I'm half Italian & half Irish, it was a lot like growing up with Lucy & Ricki! 12 years of Catholic grade & H.S. Mom & Dad are still happily married & very much in love...it's been a hard act to follow. My children are independent adults ... quite liberating. I love God & all the cool things He created! Bit of a science nerd, just fascinated by all the new discoveries! I love to learn, & to teach...I'm told I'm really great with children, I love them & they know sincerity. I thank God I've lived to see this day of the internet with its exponential explosion of shared knowledge. To be able to get on line & google earth our whole planet, or moon, or solar system, or galaxy...& beyond... is inexplicable! Every other generation that walked the planet could only look up & wonder, or spend a lifetime unlocking small clues ....when we have students not even out of college yet who get on SoHo in real time & find previously unknown asteroids & comets....it's fantastic! (& at times can make my brain hurt trying to comprehend) And that's just overhead!,...then there's genetics! I love to learn .......about the real world that is, science, history, current events. Or the housewives of any place. I miss being in love.... having someone I'm connected to all the time on our own private level. I've learned a lot from the past but don't live there. Hoping to find someone kind & interesting who is confident enough to still be charming! I have a lot of energy so I do work out, always have, it's part of my life. But that doesn't mean I care if you do. I'm more interested in your personality & emotional availability. Would love to find someone who has learned as I have that we can't change any one except our self. Therefore, I am prepared to accept your weird with your good if you will do the same. I must warn of my reluctance to travel out of my comfort zone. Seriously, I get stressed trying to find new places & there's nothing fun about getting lost. I am a natural blonde so maybe that explains it.
