I’m a very independent woman and can overcome any obstacle that may be thrown my way. I beat Breast Cancer in ***and still managed to work and take care of my child. I’ve been with the same company for 15 years and I’m very dedicated to my career. I’m out spoken and I know what I want and will not settle for less. My daughter Kira is 13 yrs old and she is my pride and joy. I was born and raised in IN. I came to AZ to visit for a weekend and went back to IN and packed my stuff and moved here one month later in ***. Needless, to say my dad was not very happy of my decision. I love the weather here and spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m looking for someone that feels that family and their child/children are the most important aspect of their life. Someone that is honest, has respect, doesn’t play games and treats their parents with respect (Remember what goes around comes around)! Someone that cares about their health and is not self-centered or selfish! I’m not trying to be abrupt I just know what I want and what I don’t want in a man. I’m at the point in my life that I'm looking to grow old with my partner. I have never been married and at this point in my life marriage is not what I'm looking for. Some people will test you, some will use you, and some will teach you; but most importantly some will bring out the best in you. Learn to see and accept the differences between these people, and carry on accordingly.Lastly, if you are looking for a woman to depend on you, I'm not her. Not sure why a man would want this but, to each their own desire's. My father raised me not to depend on anyone and that is how I have lived my life. I believe a man should not have to pay all the time!!     I consider myself a fully self-sufficient human being. I believe I can, for the most part, do anything I put my mind to. I stay busy and you usually won't catch me in front of the tv, except on Sun. evenings.... I own my own home and vehicles...Truck for work, sports car for fun, rv for get-a-way, a motocicletta (google translator) for my adrenalin addiction and oh, got rid of the boat. I love my life and would ultimately like to find someone to share it with. Again, I am self-sufficient, and a pretty "strong" women, I need and want a strong man. Not ego centred! Confident, balanced, sure of himself, but not****....and you know the difference. I love learning new things and taking new adventures. I am currently studying the Italian language and absolutely love it. I will be hiking Tuscany in Sept ***....so excited.Ciao Bello!!!PS - MEN, I would like to give an insight. I hope it doesn't offend any of you, not my intent. Now I can't speak for all women, but for me the self pics, especially the bathroom mirror pics send a few messages. The biggest one is you don't have someone close to you in your life that would take a pic for you. For me, it really shaves off quite a few points right up front. So take the time, find a buddy and put up a nice pic or two. You will catch more and better quality fish with better quality bate. ... just saying. Meet for a coffe/tea, breakfast or lunch see if we connect. I think at this age we can get a pretty good sense in the first 30 minutes. If it is a good connection we go from there. I know, not very romantic, but people are busy and I just want to keep it real. Promise if we get to second date it will be a lot better :o)
