About Me

I'm back! Trying this out again...I'm a outgoing, fun, loving, sincere and positive person looking for the same in a man. Someone who wants a lot out of life and is not afraid to go after it. I enjoy amusement parks, traveling, dining out, camping, tubing, concerts, comedy clubs, skiing, snowmobiling, cards, playing games, cuddling and anything outdoors.I am a mother of two wonderful girls, one of which has graduated and moved on. Still lives close :) and the other is 14. They are awesome and the most important people in the world to me.I work full-time as a medical assistant and I love what I do.I am 42 yrs. young :) Looking forward to the second half of my life. I'm not ready to slow down just yet. I want to find my best friend. Someone with whom I can share everything with, all the pleasures life has to offer. Life should be an adventure, but so much more fun with someone to enjoy it with. I'm not very political, nor do I read the paper or watch much T.V. (can't handle all the bad news). However, I occasionally watch at night with my daughter. Mostly love America's Funniest Home Videos, Two and a half Men or Criminal Minds. I do like watching and going out to the movies. I enjoy watching some sports, with Football being my favorite. Don't care for Hockey (can't keep my eye on the puck). Soccer, not so much either. I like to stay busy, have lots of energy (sometimes too much), but can enjoy relaxing on the couch for a good movie as well. I'm not a jealous person, won't freak out because you're talking to another woman. Believe that relationships need there time apart to be or do things with their friends also. I can have a conversation with most anyone, from a stranger on the street to the person standing with me in the checkout line.I work out three-four days a week (at least try to most of the time),stay in shape and eat healthy as well. Not always easy, but I give it one heck of an effort. I believe everything happens for a reason and try to make the best of every situation. I view my cup as half full, not half empty. I'm honest in all that I do.     I live a very quiet peaceful life, off the beaten path, with my 6 dogs and a few cats, and my sister and I share a place. The man is brilliant, listen to his lyrics, he speaks nothing but the truth, but you might have to open your mind to understand that. I absolutely do not do country, it seriously makes my ears bleed.I am financially independent...no I'm not rich, no where close, but at the end of the day I have what I need and can provide for my pets. I also own my own car, and can put my own gas in it. I don't need anyone to support me, just as I want someone that doesn't need me to support them. I want your loyalty, support, and devotion.     I am looking for a man that doesn't do drugs or constantly drink. You can't be dependent on your parents, and you should have your own transportation. Some sort of income is important too, preferably via a legal job. I'm not looking for a "mama's boy", nor do I want baby mama drama. I'm not opposed to a man that has children, but don't want to get caught up in domestic disputes. Hair and eye color are not important, but he needs to be at least 5'8" tall and between the ages of 40 and 50. He must like animals, as I have a total of 10. I have a degree as a Veterinary Technician and am also a Disabled Veteran. Disabled does not automatically mean lack of or loss of use of legs and arms, and Veteran does not automatically mean PTSD. If you know what this means, you're probably a shoe in. LOL! I spent ***years in the Air Force.I enjoy scrap booking, cooking, and taking care of my animals. I love to hang out with my friends, and joke around. I'm not into head games or drama. I think the secret of life is laughing a lot and loving life!I own my house, and want to do some remodeling as time and money allow. I believe two people must get to know each other before jumping into that decision.P.S. I changed "smoking" to "Ocassionally" because I have been just over 1 week smoke free. I am using E-cigarettes to quit, and am doing very well. :) Dinner and a movie are cliche' but a nice start. But to help take the tension off, meeting at a park for a picnic lunch, or meeting for coffee is nice too. I'd like to have a chance to talk with my date and learn who they are. Also allow them a chance to learn who I am.
