I'm considering moving to an island or another country for at least part of the year. I like to be outdoors, so I'd love a running partner. I'm a huge fan of the water, so sitting on a beach or on a lake, swimming and playing in the water just make me feel really good about life. I tend to get along quite well with children and animals and would like to meet someone who enjoys them as much as I do. I like to read when I have time, and I think it's kind of romantic to just sit and read together, especially on a rainy day. I would like someone who continually strives to better himself and reinvent himself and doesn't get settled, sedentary, and give up who he is for a relationship - that person who doesn't set aside his dreams to try to fit somebody else's vision of a relationship and doesn't expect me to either.My hobbies include being outdoors doing just about ANYTHING, writing, reading (especially spy/espionage/murder mystery novels), and just doing something besides nothing. This for a short time included Candy Crush, which I learned in under 48 hours is crack to me, so I deleted it from all my electronic devices before I spiraled. I watch very little TV, but I so love rom coms and all that girl stuff like "The Notebook," Tosh/Superbad/Pineapple Express/Jackass humor, murder mysteries, and action flicks. My favorite comedy is probably "Horrible Bosses" or "Spinal Tap," both of which I can watch over and over and over and laugh til I cry every time. I love to dance. I like a whole range of music. R&B is my favorite, but I'm also into rap, hip hop, old school rock, alt rock, indie rock, reggae, country, and classical. AC/DC is my all time favorite band. And then sometimes I just like to listen to Frank Sinatra all day. If we are meeting for the very first time, let's just do coffee or a drink. I'd like this to just be a simple meeting to see if we would possibly be interested in more.Also, I'm not too enthusiastic about writing or texting a zillion times before we meet. Let's just meet and see how we feel.If we're still good after a couple real dates, then we can do something really fantastic, like get hot chocolate (jk).I would also like to say that I have met some sweet and thoughtful gentlemen on this site, not all of whom I am interested in dating, but wonderful people nonetheless. However, please note...I'm a bit put off if you are more inclined to show off your plane, boat, or automobile rather than just simply you. I am not interested in your "stuff." You should be proud of your "stuff," but I am more interested in what you as a human being have to offer.Dating can be rough. I think we're all looking for that special someone who just "gets" us and thinks we're special, too. Wherever the road takes us, I sincerely hope you find that person who meets and exceeds all of your wildest expectations!

It means we have a consistant friday or saturday night out and it may lead to more in the future. It means no more constant first dates. First let me say that I am a bit old fashioned, If a man doesn't have the courage to write me a message to say hi when he is interested and see if there is any connection then I don't view him as a person I'd be interested in. I'm not into people that can't take the bull by the horns so to speak. :-) I am normally attracted to someone who is out going but not prideful and self involved. I also like the person I'm dating to be in somewhat good shape(not perfect) and not be too thin. I need someone to hold onto...lol. I'm a bit like a sweet quiet storm that is nice to enjoy and is soothing to the soul. The kind that makes you want to cuddle up and just listen as it rumbles in the distance, And sometimes I'm bright, sudden, exciting and fun. The kind that gets your heart beating fast! That makes you want to dance and feel the sweet rain on your skin. I am a mixture of both the quiet, peaceful, serene, laid back part of the world but I also get charged, eager, passionate and ready for the excitement that the world has to offer. Why pick just one way to live. I'm here to learn and enjoy life along with learning from my mistakes, and I have made many mistakes in life and am humbled. I'm hoping that I can find someone who understands the true meaning of being humbled and can be thankful for all the blessings that are given to us to try again and again. I am not one of those who believes that I am always right, actually everyone has a rightness in their own logic but it comes down to finding the best way to accomplish things together with compromise on both sides. My relationship with God is also very important to me and I hope to find someone that may not be perfect but loves God and strives to be a better person everyday. I'm extremely honest and loyal and never falter in my promises to be true to the person I love. I was married for 17yrs and there is no drama or craziness between my ex and I. We are still friends and on good terms with each other. I am a very cuddly type of person and I love to give hugs and touches through out the day to the person I love. I am not object-oriented, materialistic or overly concerned with fashion and looks but I work hard to be able have adventures and I keep myself in pretty good shape. I'm not the kind you will find in a gym but I prefer to workout in the beautiful outdoors whether it's raining or not, bring it on. :-) I don't like to crowd others, and sometimes need space to myself but I also love get togethers with friends and family.I'm a phlebotomist who loves my work. I work with donors who are amazing and giving. I am blessed with a job that can help save peoples lives and it humbles me.I have three great children-18, 7 and 6, full of energy who like to do anything outside. We like to go camping, hiking and swimming. As long as it's outside they're up for it, even helping out doing yardwork.I also love to joke around so If I like you, you're in for it ;-)PS.
