About Me

Shall I dare say this......here it goes....I am an independent woman and I know what I want....this should thrill a man and not intimidate him :~) I read many profiles of men who claim they want a women who is independent and knows what they want...but I'm getting to the point where I disagree...and that's too bad...for you that is. :~) Besides the entertainment of this site....I enjoy hanging out with my friends and value my family very much. I am a very honest, dependable, loyal, drama free, hilarious (yep - I'm a funny girl) and trustworthy. I am outspoken and tend to tell it like it is.....yet on the flip side, I have a filter...know how to use it when needed, I am very sweet and caring with a heart of gold (so I've been told). Pretty much..... what you see is what you get, I can promise you that :~) I am looking for a man who has a great sense of humor, who is honest, trustworthy, someone who can handle a woman who can be a bit sarcastic at times, someone who is up for some bicker/banter and does not take it personally. Someone who enjoys going out and doing things but can also stay in and enjoy a relaxing night at home. Someone who is not afraid to open up and communicate (eventually).....communication is essential. I believe in spending time together as much as I believe in spending time apart. Oh.....and to be my "tell it like it is sort of woman"....if you don't have a picture...please don't expect me to respond to your message....that bugs me...it's like your trying to hide something. Now, I do realize....looks aren't everything BUT there needs to be some sort of attraction to even get started...right ??? So since I've shown you mine then you can show me yours....picture that is !!!! :~) And PLEASE....PLEASE.....PLEASE.....no cheesy pick up lines...that will NOT get you a response. :~) ** Note....I have come to realize that not everyone reads down this far because I still continue to get them. **Oh....and I know this is alot to ask but.....PLEASE be who you say you are and it would be just GREAT if you really did look like your pictures....just sayin'. :-) So.....I guess the bottom line is....I am looking for an overall great guy...not perfect.....no one is perfect but just an overall great guy....I am sure there are plenty of you out there !!! I'm sure we can figure something out !!!

    Just going to keep this short for now.....here are some of the basics. I love my job, which is for an agency that provides residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities. I love to laugh....that's important to me, a man that can make me laugh, and I in return enjoy making people laugh (once I feel comfortable around you). Not going to lie, but looks do matter to me, but personality is just as important. I appreciate honesty in a person as well as discernment. In regards to music...I'm not a huge fan of country, or an avid listener to the oldies, which for my generation, is classic rock. Basically, I listen to music that has clever lyrics, a good beat, or simply what appeals to me and the mood. Hmmm, hobbies? Dislike that phrase, as well as "interests" If this comes off as boring, do not judge by the following: I enjoy cooking (seriously, I really do), baking, reading, card games (still need to learn poker). Not a team sportsy kinda girl, but I do enjoy getting out and doing whatever. Basically, If you want to do something, I'm a good sport and am always looking for a new interest to learn. Well, that's enough for now... ;-)
