I fully admit that I live a pretty boring life, lol. I get up, work, clean house, cook, spend time with the kids and then go to bed. When I am looking for something fun to do I'm more likely to go to the movies (enjoy action, drama and comedy movies. Horror flicks are a waste of my money since I'm hiding my eyes the whole time, lol), attend a sporting event (local high school games, SHSU, Texans and Rockets) or a concert. I'm a rocker at heart and my go to station is 94.5 the buzz. I also like to go camping or take a weekend trip away. I enjoy gambling and love to go to the horse/dog track.My kids are 23 and 18. My youngest is a senior in high school. I do have a 5 year old granddaughter who now lives with me. Kind of an adjustment since I thought I was essentially through raising my kids and now I'm starting over with a kindergartener. She goes to visit with her parents almost every weekend which clears my schedule for dating but during the week I am somewhat limited with my free time. It is still do-able, just requires a bit more planning. I try my hardest to be honest and kind in my relationships. I hope to find someone who can be the same. I'm not in a lot of photos because I'm usually the one with the camera and selfies are just so horrible. My selfies usually cause me to appear to have lots of cleavage or double chins. I promise I have neither, lol. I also promise that all the pics attached to my profile have been taken within the last 8 months. Please have the common courtesy to include recent pics if you decide to message me. I read something the other day that is relevant to where I am in my dating life. "You can choose to be convenient, interested or committed." Since I started dating again, I've been treated as someone's convenience. Not a nice feeling. And if you are truly interested you will make the time and effort to spend time with each other and to learn about each other. I can't say that I will be marriage ready within 6 months of dating, lol. In fact I can almost guarantee that I won't be. Hi there! Last time I was out here I didn't want anything serious...since then, things have changed. I am a very outgoing person and have two great kids who I have full custody of. I have an awesome job and a nice car and my own home. I enjoy hiking, riding motorcycles, and doing things with my kids. My kids are my world, and most of my time is spent at football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, cheerleading and dance practices, but I do have a little spare time that I would love to spend with someone special. I enjoy music of all kinds and like reality TV shows. I'm very outgoing and I have a lot of friends...both men and women...so if you get jealous easily, you probably shouldn't talk to me. I refuse to change for anyone...what you see is what you get. I don't speak in riddles and I mean what I say.Here's the thing...last time I was on this site, I heard from guys who were only looking for one thing. That's not me, so if that's what you want, please don't waste my time. Below is what I'm looking for:I would like to find someone who can be spontaneous. I don't have a lot of free time, so I need someone who can just pick up and go at a moments notice. If you have a motorcycle, that's a plus...if you have TWO motorcycles, well, that's even better! You must have your own vehicle...preferably a nice car or a nice 4 wheel drive truck (I'm a country girl at heart), and have your own place. I will not date black men, and will not date anyone who is separated or still married. You must be single. I prefer someone who is at least 4 inches taller than me with kind eyes. I believe that the eyes are the window to the soul, so your eyes are important to me. I'm overweight, but not unattractive, so I expect the same in a partner. You must be educated...speak correctly and spell correctly. If you send me a message that has a ton of misspelled words...don't expect a response from me. Don't expect to be around my kids for a while...my kids have been through too much over the last 2 years so I have no plans on introducing them to anyone until I know that person will be around for more than a few months.I will probably update this again in the next few days, but this is me in a nutshell. Although it was work related, I think it was then that I truly realized that I need someone in my life. I had so much fun in the evenings after work and I would love to have been able to share that experience with someone. I plan on taking a 2 week vacation next year and driving West with my kids with no set plans. I want my kids to get to see what is out there if they work hard and never stop believing they can accomplish anything if they set their mind to it. I would love to be able to share the whole experience with that special someone as well.Here's the thing...my schedule is pretty jam packed. Basketball has already started and baseball will be starting in November. As I've said before, my kids are my world and I would give my life for them. I was talking to a couple of friends this past week and realized that what I need is a "companion". I don't mind living alone because I'm an extremely independent woman, but I want someone that I can have an intelligent conversation with, but someone who isn't going to get mad if I don't call them back right away. Someone who I can pick up the phone and call and say "Hey, you want to meet me for dinner and a movie tonight?" and they will ask where and when. Since I don't have a lot of free time, I just can't plan too far ahead. I usually work ***hours a day (I do work from home), so I don't get to go out much for adult fun. My life truly does revolve around my kids. But, I'm faithful. I don't lie, cheat, or steal and I expect the same from you.
