First and foremost I'm a mother to the best daughter on the planet :) I have a great career that I love in the social service field. I feel blessed to be able to do something that I enjoy every day. My job and daughter keep me very busy so I'm here to try to get past the first step since I don't have a lot of time to go out and meet new people.I'm going to be picky about who I go out with because I don't want to waste your time or mine. Also, my daughter just graduated high school so I am finding myself with a lot of "me" time that I didn't have before. I am also good at learning. That might sound weird but I love learning new things. I am very educated but I'm also smart enough to know there's still alot to learn. Guess it's the teacher in me, lol. At first I do tend to be quiet and shy but after I get to know someone I am a lot of fun and like to share laughs. Usually the first physical traits that get noticed about me are my eyes and hair. My friends also love my sense of humor. My favorite book and movie of all time is Lonesome Dove. In general, I like reading historical fiction and thrillers. I love westerns , scary movies and comedies. Not too much into chick flicks except for The Notebook. Makes me cry every time I watch it, lol. My taste in music varies with my mood, I like old and new country, 80s pop and hair bands. I enjoy playing online poker and I loooove basketball!
